    Do you ever use a roller?

    • @thetrahanman
      @thetrahanman  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      100% especially on anything that has peel and stick base i feel needs an extra roll anyways... Then i usually use my trowel for the bottom bleedout

      @whatmouth sounds like you wouldn't last 30 seconds here with that attitude! things are done differently in different parts of the world, if you've noticed. What I do is industry standard in these parts. I am curious about this tilt fillet you keep talking about, it sounds important and I'm sure it helps ?! I'm looking into it! Again, thanks for your input!

      @whatmouth what you call a tilt fillet we call can't edge here in Canada. For new roof applications they aren't necessary. The whole reason they were on flat roofs in the past was for BUR systems, or "tar and gravel." That material couldn't handle the 90 degree angle change and would Crack. With new torch-on SBS the fibers are synthetic so it can easily withstand the angle change so it is no longer industry standard. I prefer it without personally.

    Can you do a video of a closed scupper? Like the ones that are a tunnel? Base and cap process. I like your style and would love to see how you do those types of scuppers. 👊

    You cut quickly for your video you missed seam in top wall trying too hard for video. You know... cut that out @45 too and embed the granular too. Rewatch you'll see. Love your work real clean.

      The company I work for only wants me to go up the parapet, I go up and on because I think it's better... to be honest I rewatched the video and I'm sorry I can't see what your talking about lol but I do appreciate the comment and the feedback! I'm definately not perfect and have only got to be as good as I am from people like you giving me good constructive criticism! So I appreciate you! Roof on brother! 🤘🏼

      @thetrahanman the base i was talking about is temporary, 1st thing slide base under Dupont hi as possible, secure at top in wall. Then grab the bottom pull-up over dupont, secure to the wall. Then do the beauty you're doing ( why i like your channel ) and remove the temp wall base. Dupont, not burnt contractor happiest. Stay thirsty, Brothers ;)
      Oh, i read comment better. This was at the corner 3" ship lap @45 missing on top wall, not needed if coping metal and it was waterproof. I was thinking no cap. And the other video, lol
