FEATHER TOYS- Try to mimic birds movement with these toys. Make it fly over them, move it chaotically near them but never at them! It's supposed to be a pray toy so don't bother dangling it at them or hanging it. I have 2 senior cats and they still like to play/hunt, works every time.
Also made the mistake of buying the bird toy. At first my cat was just confused but now we have to constantly charge it. It’ll be 11 PM and she won’t stop playing with it. She loves it so much it’s no longer fluffy from her licking it!😂😂😂
Our dog ate the energy balls too, we ended up using the fur brush from the arch for cleaning the drain😂. All of ours love the springs. We also have somethings like little wobbly men that they love, but the thing they all adore is... a shoe box!😂
CATNIP- Cats can take to it at they get older, or they'll have days where they are actually interested. Keep trying. I recommend using the actual dry herb, not any balls or sprays. Take a pinch and rub it with your fingers to release the natural oils and let hey smell the oils from your fingers, and pet her with those oils/fingers to share the scent. If she ever has a receptive response, give her a fat pinch of catnip that you've bruised (to release the oils). After that you can use on toys or other applications.
I love Rachel and her content, but "tell me you don't know how to play with a cat, without telling me you don't k ow how to play with a cat" @8:44 no wonder she wasn't interested, it was a non-moving target lol 😅😅
One of my cats likes the spring toys, too. Another one likes the feather/bird toys that you have to fling around for them occasionally. None of them would like the motorized toy. A cat will play when it wants to, not when you do. The end.
We love those squirty goo things for our cat... we call them Cat Gogurt. She goes insane for them (and she's usually super chill, hates all other treats).
That is crazy our cats are completely different.Anything we bring into the house,They are investigating lol And that bird thing... they would go crazy over. MY boys love their spring toys!!

Then he got a baby boy kitty and suddenly she became a momma’s girl, played with all of the toys to make him jealous, and got so much more exercise from her little brother picking on her. Boys are so affectionate toward humans, but my fluffy queen is my daughter’s second mom. If you really want some hardcore snuggles, I totally recommend adding a baby boy to that mix.
That cat treat stuff is like drgs to cats. 😂 One of my cats has asthma and we have to give him an inhaler through a tube thing. The only way he will take the puff is if we put that cat treat stuff on the opening. Also we don’t need a separate thing to squeeze it lol.
My daughter's cat ripped the catnip ball off the holder within the first night😂. As for the spring toys, she's obsessed, but my senior cat just doesn't care unless it's a Q-tip or bread twist
As viral as it is/was, the ChomChom roller is the best of everything I've tried in my household of 4 cats. That plus a squeegee type item that's specifically made for cat hair, to get in the corners and small spaces the ChomChom can't get. Oh and get one of those squeegee broom things for any rugs or carpet. Doesn't matter how often you vacuum or what vacuum you use, it will shock and disgust you how much hair still comes up with the squeegee.
I wish my cat liked those springs because they are really fun to fling acoss the room. But the most Oreo will do is run to it, an then come back to me to fling the next one for him to run and look at, come back and repeat 😅
Try the Cat Dancer toy! And a kicker toy. Those are my cats favorites! Wait! You have hard floors. Get those hexbug toys. They make a version specifically for cats but its the same as the ones you get in the toy aisle for human children.
Cats have different hunting styles. some like to see their pray in front of em, while some like to see their pray disappear behind a corner and get teased by it. There are some more but also... about the catnip - some love it others do not, think of it like humans liking something while others arent interested (smoking, drinking etc).
She doesn't want to play under observation 😂 maybe you should get a ribbon thing so she will play with you? Or try fetch with crinkle balls or sparkle balls.

Some cats can’t smell catnip! Those ones normally prefer catnips plant cousin valerian…. Found that out when I was trying to treat my anxiety herbally… cat broke into my medicine bottle… he’s ginger so
I don’t know if she likes collars but if she doesn’t mind them you could put one of those little camera collars on her and do a “day in the life”. Considering she has such a different personality compared to other cats it might be interesting!…..or it might just be 12 hours of naps and side eyeing from across the room 😂

Every cat is very different. My cat has the bird and fucking loves it, my other cat hates it (she was more interested in the real bird that was stuck in our fireplace tho 😂). My kitty I had before the two I have now (rip) played catch like a Doggo. Btw that bird IS really annoying, worth it cause my male cat has became a lot more happier since getting it. 🙏🏽
Yeah we have a mouse that our kittens obesssed with but its get rather annoying lucky its under a cuberd and he has lots of toys thow the thing for the treats is cool
The little nub balls are great mine didn't stick to the wall very well so my cat just locks it on the ground butttt the little one I threw away I could tell they were licking it cuz it STANK
