- IS THIS A GOLDEN PALACE IN THE PHILIPPINES?
Not quite, but it almost looks like one! The southern road in central Mindanao leads you into the Province of Sultan Kudarat. Named after a hero, this Province is home to diverse people from different backgrounds... including many Maguindanaons. The road across south central Mindanao is beautiful. But my journey starts eating snacks at the market in Maitum.
This motor vlog journey is filled with peaceful and positive vibes. Friendly people approach and talk to me as I motor along...
It may not be a golden palace, but the Municipality of Palimbang in Sultan Kudarat certainly has filled me with many beautiful and shining memories!

Hello, I'm from Indonesia. From the history it's known that this Palimbang "city" had a strong connection with the city of Palembang in Sumatera island of Indonesia. This is what a read in Wikipedia:
According to Tarsila, there was a tremendous change in the society due to the spread out of Islam in the coastal areas widely known as Biwang, which later paved a way toward Islamic Civilization of the inhabitants. Palimbang at that time was locally known as Pula a tree widely grown in the place. A group of fishermen from Palimbang, Indonesia was lifted by strong winds and accidentally docked at the mouth of Pula River. They were warmly welcomed by the native datus headed by Sondalo Tambuto. The hospitality shown to them reigned in their hearts and drawn the visitors to settle and intermarry with the native Muslims. A new community was developed and later named Palimbang, in honor of the fishermen's hometown, which now remained the name of the municipality.

Sen-prez Zubiri recognized Kulas as big deal for all Mindanaoans. I’m not sure if all natives and various tribes from the promise land feel the same way. This vlog wholeheartedly dedicated for all Filipinos but most specially Mindanao. He could’ve done different content with big and better results however for Kulas it’s not a popularity contest but his calling and true purpose in life.

In southern tagalog region "espasol" is made from ground roasted glutinous rice and mixed with young "coconut bukayo" and smothered with the flour of roasted glutinous rice.

Even us locals in metro cities of Mindanao sometimes could not build the confidence in driving around that route due to past challenges in nearby areas but you proved us wrong. The locals look very happy that you visited as well. Thank you for showing that Mindanao is a safe and tourist-friendly place.

What were the concerns? They were alluded to at the start but never revealed. Was it that the roads may be too difficult, or concerns of crime, or something else?

I've seen these in Indonesia, if they are the same then they are sweet or savoury treats that are made from:
- a base such as glutinous rice, or crushed glutinous cereals, etc
- a "glue" that also acts as a preservative, such as coconut butter, or animal fat, or say a banana sugar mix, etc
- flavourings such as coffee, or bean/nut/fruit pastes/jams, or banana, or chocolate, etc

KULAS you need to learn Pangasinan dialect, if you go further Luzon passed Manila about 4 hours south or north I forgot in DAGUPAN, BOLINAO, CALASIAO! Hundred islands. That’s where I’m from. Anyway, be careful driving back, be safe.

When you eat diferent foods around the diferent provinces you allways say the philipino name but we your followers not sll but some don’t know the pilipino nane can you at least make an inglish translation of the diferent foods and i ges candy for us to lear what are they made of like some times we see you eat some kind of soup snd you call it sobao or something like that what is it msde of we like to learn more about filipino foods

Paano kasi, itong mga makakaliwa at mga kontra partido sa politika laging bulambibig nila na magulo.ang Mindanao, may mga atrocities na kagagawan din ng mga makakaliwa. Parang ayaw nilang mag progress ang Mindanao. Pero sa totoo, Mindanaons are peace loving people, at kung may konting kagulohan, isolated cases lang huwag e generalize agad.
