- THINGS HAVE CHANGED AT THE BEACH HOME... IN A REALLY GOOD WAY!
Our landscaping has really started to come together, and everyone is enjoying the positive vibes... especially our new pet duck Patopie! In this video, we catch up with Jandee and Kumar at the beach home in Cateel, Davao Oriental. Kumar and the duck have really bonded... he even picks it up now! Jandee was rocking some local cooking, and myself and Kumar head into town to run errands.

The duck looks so happy now in paradise with Kumar. It's wings have grown back too. I hope the dogs don't get too jealous of it getting the attention... Makes me think of what happened to poor chicken George. A true animals friend Kumar. 👍🍀🐕🐤🦆🐓

Kumar is such a sweet soul. An animal whisperer. When my brothers and I were young, we bought a duckling at the market and raised it with about 8 dogs. It thought it was also a dog. Whenever the dogs would start barking at strangers, it would go and attack the person the dogs were barking at. It was hilarious to see it hanging out with the dogs. Btw, this is off topic but still related to this video. Just wondering why your Filipino friends don't say 'thank you' when you give them something out of the generosity of your heart.
For this video, Jandee actually said "thanks brad" when Kulas was already going down the stairs (and Kulas was also talking, so Jandee's voice was barely audible) 😊 ... although I've noticed, in general how the receiver imparts his thank you somehow depends on their relationship with Kulas 😁
I like all the new changes in the beach house, especially the addition of the gravel and the carabao grass. I bet Patopie and the chickens would also be useful when the grass grows taller because they might graze on the grass since chickens and ducks will include grass in their diets as well.
Here now in the Philippines. As i walked the streets of places i visited, I always think of how you would keep a good attitude and relate to those around you. Didn't realize i was trying to emulate you, hahaha.

Miss those fruits! We use to only steal it from our neighbor's trees back home! Atis, rambutan, guavas, starapples, santol, chico, mangoes even the expensive lanzones & guyabanos!!

Hey, Kyle. The housing complex reno is shaping up quite well. One add-on you guys would enjoy is a JACUZZI, esp since you and the BOYZ enjoy the hot springs a lot. (Tip: Be sure to have it covered when not in use tho -- to minimize salt damage.)

i haven't been to the East Coast part of Davao Oriental and I wish I could visit the place soon and drop by at Cateel to see you in person Kulas. My mom (a retired teacher) and I, enjoyed watching your vids coz it is not only entertaining but also educational. It's like me going to different parts of the Philippines. I lived in Manila for 29 years and moved back to Mati City on 2019 for good. I am a public high school teacher and hope someday you can drop by at our mega school. If you have a piece of land, you will always survive. Been healthy with fresh food and clean air and water and your body will Thankyou. We to here in Tacloban are pig farming free range and we hope to have free range chickens too. One project at a time for now. God bless

Yes maize is better than plain rice, it stays with you a little longer and the bahaw is good for fried rice
