    Arrived at Harrahs at 4am this morning after having replaced an alternator in Indiana on the turnpike, trailer tires in salt lake city friday afternoon and having to get my 2012 RAM 6.7 towed to Wendiver, Utah after it destroyed a unit bearing and that set us back 11 hours but the Jeep is perfect and 3,000 in repairs on the tow pig got us here to hit the Rubicon tomorrow morning!

      The bonus is there's a part store at the end as long as you aren't alone (and that's a horrible idea) someone can make a parts run if you can limp into town you can fix it in the motel parking lot

    • @BikingVikingHH
      @BikingVikingHH 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In a fit of frustration after sleeping on an uncomfortable regular mattress, I bought an air mattress for my house and threw my coil spring out while I shopped for a replacement memory foam mattress. The air mattress was such a relief after my old coil spring I slept on it for about six months, never needed to pump it up once! I think that was the one air mattress in the entire universe that held air LOL

    • @davidwoermansr
      @davidwoermansr 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've had the same air mattress in my camping gear the last 6 year's and it holds air the entire summer 2 weeks at a time before we move to another site for another 2 weeks it's just a walmart special my dog even gets to sleep on it when it's raining

    Low gears help so much on the Rubicon with the small boulders because you roll just a bit slower and from Cadillac hill to the springs, camp and go to the sluices and back out is the best route.

    Thank you so much for the amazing videos of your trip through the Rubicon. I glad you all enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed watching the adventure. California is a way different terrain than Utah. If you all ever want to go sand riding you should check out Glamis in Southern California, the dunes there are pretty cool.

    Best camping investment whether you use it all the time or once a year, and Automatic Tent! Got one at the pawn shop, literally takes me, by myself, less than 5 minutes to put it up and take it back down... not 5 min up and 5 min down, 5 min total to do both. Biggest struggle is getting it back in the bag as the bag is designed with NO extra space.

    • @unoefxz
      @unoefxz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a close battle between the Auto-tent and the DeWalt 20v Chainsaw.... I use the chainsaw more but the tent is such a time saver

      IDK if it's 2 way or not but around my area if 2 groups meet on level the group closest to a safe place to pull over does on a grade the uphill group has the right of way so they can keep their momentum there's no law just some trail etiquette the off road groups that take care of and clean and clear the trails came up with and since they kept the parks and trails open to the public they're pretty much in charge
