"is finished" Why not keep expanding it every year? If there is money build some more, and more, and more. You guys have space enought.

    • @ehombane
      @ehombane 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

I would be glad to see only renewable, 100 percent renewable.
But is not only about space and money.
This park is 3 percent of country capacity, and in just 2 years will be another 17 percent renewable. But this 3 percent covers the demand during day in the region. If they double the capacity in next few years, then here will be too much supply during the day, and for the night they need to build storage which is still a problem, and to export it to other regions, there is need of infrastructure, in which case may be cheaper to build other parks where the demand is.
On the other hand those who put the money did not made it for environment, they did it for profit, and now they need few years to recover the cost, and then make profit. So for sure they have plenty of money to invest more, but as I say, if they build more, they bring the price down in region, and sabotage the actual investment.
This is a good start. If the investors are making a good profit, in a decade when they made enough profit, will invest in storage too and increase the size of the park to produce for the night demand too.

    Story of India.
India is having 78000 petrol pumps outlets and are selling petrol and diesel and gas and each petrol pump has a 20000 litres of liquid per bunk and this is having 60 MW energy.
So India requirement is 5000000 MW of energy.

    1 million is 1000000
    230000000 vehicles
If each vehicle gets minimum 5 kWh or 5 units charge then per hour India needs

1150000000 kWh or units per hour
1150000000 kWh or units per hour if each unit is sold for 10 rupees
    11500000000 rupees revenue generated
    100740000000000 rupees per year
This is the revenue generated per year

So Europe fund the solar farms and receive cheap clean electricity by cables through the Mediterranean and North African countries receive some of the Electricity produced as fee . Thing is that we would still need some sort of back up. And while I am all for for some energy purchase and actually aiding those countries, I hesitate to give them the control over my entire energy needs.
Those countries are not stable. They have lots of problems. We should never make ourselves so redundant on foreign energy sources like we did with oil again.
We can produce most of our energy at home. We should use those possibilities first.
