What I love about him is he doesn't preach or talk to them "angry" he just gives them the facts and gives Bible scriptures how can you argue with that, you can't
Your a gutsy pastor, standing up for what is correct. God’s word is true, the Bible is our guide. We depend on people like you to preach the truth to the church. When a Church lowers its standards we have nothing,so stand up and be counted. God Bless you pastor Gary.🇦🇺
I'm older than Pastor Garry. I was raised in church and attended SWBTS. I wish I had just a part of the gift God has blessed Pastor Garry with. Praise God for the BLESSINGS bestowed on this man. You would be Wise to listen to the Holy Spirit as Pastor Garry brings God's Word to life!! I pray you will listen!
This was a great sermon. I came here to learn about this famous Lazarus story and see what I can teach kids at Sunday school. I see myself living without anxiety, in faith and assurance in Jesus ❤ Thank you. I pray that my loved ones will do this prayer one day to accept Jesus.

Thank you Pastor for wonderful teaching as why Jesus delayed his coming, since He wanted to give greater glory to God. It is true that it was greater miracle to raise a dead man rather than just healing a sick man.
Greetings Sir Pastor Gary, I have been listening to your preaching for 8 years now. Thank you for enlighting me for the word of God it helps me everyday to live hopeful and blissful..You are such a blessings to millions of Jesus Followers..May the Good Lord God will bless your ministry, Family and yourself in Jesus Christ name. Amen❤💖..Much Love and Long Live from Tagaytay City, The Philippines😊
I really enjoyed this sermon! Studying John right now and these sermons are so helpful. Of all of your John sermons so far this one really stood out for me.
Our Lord said, "Amen, Amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send, receives Me and whoever receives Me receives the One who sent Me (John 13:20; Matt 10:40) and "Whoever listens to you listens to Me. Whoever rejects you rejects Me and rejects the One who sent Me (Luke 10:16)". Therefore, in order for us to receive and listen to Christ Our Savior, we need to receive and listen to the one Our Lord sent and not anyone else. Who are the ones Our Lord sent to us for our salvation? They are the Apostles and their successors, the ministers of His Church built on Peter (Matt 16:18-19, 28:19-20).
Through the teachings of these ministers, the dispenser of the mysteries of God (1 Cor 3:5, 4:1), we learn the True Faith revealed by Our Lord and become true believers and members of His Mystical Body (Col 1:18, 1 Cor 12:27, Eph 5:23), the Church. St. Paul said, "Remember your prelates who have spoken the word of God to you; whose Faith follow. Jesus Christ, yesterday, today, and the same forever; and, not be lead away with various and strange doctrines (Heb 13:7-9). Obey your prelates and be subject to them; for they watch as being to render account of your souls (Heb 13:17)."
Our Lord made it clear that, in order for us to be saved, we must follow the teachings of His Church (Mark 16:16), One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church with whom He and Holy Spirit remain always until the end of ages (John 14:16-17, Matt 28:20). Whoever, Our Lord did not send or who reject the teachings of His Church, are wolves in sheep's clothing and, therefore, shouldn't be listened to and must be avoided. He that knows God, hears us. He that is not of God, hears us not. By this we know the spirit of Truth and the spirit of error (1 John 4:6).
GOD’S WILL…. Exactly what we would pray for if we knew all the facts. I am reminded of this as Pastor talks here about how God is never late and how he is always on time, not working on our timetable. I have gone through some deep emotional, dark and difficult family heartbreak over the last two years. I have had to remind myself of this minute by minute. At the onset I was begging God to heal my family and even “giving HIM ideas” 😅 of how He maybe could “fix things”. One day I heard Him speak to me so clearly (in my mind) saying, “I don’t need your help. Get out of the way. “ It was then that I was reminded of the statement I started this post out with and realized HIS way is best, HIS timing is best, and my ideas… He doesn’t need them, nor do I want him to listen to my ideas because he knows the beginning from the end. HE knows all the facts. YOUR PERFECT WILL LORD JESUS - it’s ALL I want.
Hallelujah pastor hi iam from 🇹🇹pastor i must say looking and understanding the LORD i find it in u ,u being a bible teacher and pastor ARE feeding GOD flocks and leading people to christ ,thank you for what u did for me Amen ,BLESS u man of GOD and counting saving soul for GOD bless ❤🇹🇹🙏🏼🙏🏼

Yes pastor Gary breaks down the word and makes it so easy to understand. Iam going through some tough time right now and listening to paster gary and praying alot helped me get stronger in the lord.
I love your sermons and bible study, the way you explain things is very helpful,it's bible study with history class, great job Pastor Gary, from Lake Jordan Alabama, called slapout, not kidding, it's called slapout,al. 😆
Amen ! THANK YOU JESUS (YESHUA) Thank you Pastor Gary for sharing this amazing message. I have been learning alot from you. You are an amazing teacher and Pastor. So thank you. God Bless
You can change your loved ones to believe, but keep praying. I don’t think we will remember those who are not in heaven, because if we did we be sad and the bible says in heaven there is no tears or pain. But there is always hope that they will believe even in the last seconds of their lives.
Jn 11:4 - When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. I believe that jesus wept when he came to the grave was because of the above scripture. That God was going to be glorified. And many Jews came to believe in Him because of this miracle.. Yes. Jesus definitely can understand our emotions but in this instance, he wept that the Son of God was going to be glorified. Having come across so much doubt, unbelief and resistance esp amongst the learned Jews.
Dear friends, there is a Messianic Jewish teacher Arnold Fruchtenbaum who explained why Jesus waited two days, why He said the illness is for the glory of God, and why the Pharisees went bonkers when they found out. This applies also to the healing of the man born blind. These were miracles only the Messiah could perform: raise someone on the fourth day and heal someone born blind. Jesus had proven He is the Messiah.
I personally believe the woman made a statement of faith. She knew He could have prevented the death...then doubt before removing the stone...then a miracle.
Thank you. I lead a small group Bible study and your sermon have been a blessing to help me prepare. I have a Calvinist that comes about half the time. When he comes he is very confrontational and rude. My pastor continues to come to me and tells me don’t let him run you off you are to good at what you do. He doesn’t have a problem with my theology just that it’s me leading the study. Any suggestions on how to handle this would be greatly valued.
That is exactly what happened last night my emotion of my own accord was driving my thoughts what I had to do was have a cry because I worked myself up the father said breathe and focus on adventure through biblical cause so he lead me in the Vatican which plays a massive role on this planet so pull back on hating the Vatican start loving your human history get to know the inside and out of the human body it's a story about your inner ear 🌞☀️💯🌟👏
Gary is a bit tough on the grieving sisters, Mary and Martha, calling them disrespectful "sappy sisters," and on Jesus, calling Him "snorting angry," when actually He was gentle and compassionate.
At the tomb of Lazarus, after he was risen from the dead, and some of the Jews believed; had there been any Pharisees there, they would have gone into the tomb to check for bottles of water!
Lazarus was not the only person raised from the dead. Why would it be this raising and not another that the disciples would believe. Was it how long he was dead? They would see "the glory." The story of the rich man and Lazarus is not supposed to be about the same Lazarus. The poor Lazarus was clearly a servant in a rich man's household. Both men named Lazarus are exceptional men of faith. And if Bethany is a place of the poor, there are two or three important similarities--exceptional faith, poverty and having a story to tell of what the next life may be like.
Sassy Sisters? Another look at Mary and Martha's greeting might be similar to what we observed in the kitchen. Martha filled with duty; Mary filled with wonder. For Martha, the delay went against Jewish "duty" to mourn appropriately. For Mary we see important words before she states the exact same thing to Jesus . . ."if you had been here, my brother would not have died," said Martha. . .and Mary remained seated. That behavior is something we saw previously. Martha in movement/Mary seated. Then, Mary does something very different with those same words. . .she falls at his feet (vs. 32) and repeats what her sister says in a VERY different position. Prostrate. On the ground. Is she making a true statement without condemnation? Perhaps, because Jesus is moved by her. . .not by Martha.
This sermon was good until he talks about death. Christ himself said in John 3:13 "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. Acts 2:29 "Men and brethren , let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. Acts 2:34 "For David did not ascend into the heavens. Please study the verse for verse so you do not deceive others. I'll pray for you & others that heard that part. When we die we are at rest till Jesus comes with the clouds and the dead shall rise first & be caught up with our Lord. Amen.
This woman is NOT a woman of the Christian faith! She may have faith in science or who knows what.. she certainly is not putting faith in Jesus, or His word! She’s who’s described as one whom will be told, “Depart from Me, for I never knew you, you worker of evil” God Bless you pastor!
Uh, what woman? Remember, "Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." Remember Jesus said, "Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”
@@wonderingchild1 My bad. Please forgive me for misreading your comment. Whenever I listen to a sermon I try to only concern myself with the Biblical content and I usually blow by the illustrations, remembering more the object lesson than the illustration itself. This chapter in John makes it clear that death is a sleep. You're incorrect when you describe death as a transition.
