I love the attention to detail in not only the retro costumes for characters never in a KI game until now being not only based on their concept art but also being tweaked to look as if it WOULD'VE been in a previous KI game, but the fact that there are two different Voice Acting deliveries for each intro.

The combo breaker system and counter breaker system adds loads of depth to the game. And instinct activation (or whatever HP+HK is) was revolutionary in that it pioneered V-Trigger for SFV.

I just live how player 1 and player 2 intro quotes have different inflection. Just an added detail that is very appreciated. However Netherrealm has me spoiled with the character to character specific intros.

Gregg mayles creator of banjo kazoie and lead designer of many of there games is creative director, and Chris sever creator of conker, and designer on many high level games are still with the company. In fact I believe it is 12 legacy rare employees are still with the company... many having legacies of nearly 20 years... If it is platonic you speak of the irony being most of ex rare the staff with that team also made nuts and bolts... and now under Phil Spencer rare is allowed to be rare again... the talent is there they just needed the support.
