interesting diy! i'll definitely try it out sometime. i have a few tips (alternate methods?) though: - reverse the reference image so that the marker text would be behind the glass - instead of using shutterfly, laminate the sheets or use enamel spray
there are also print shops online (depending on your location, just find ones that are cheap or have free shipping) and you could have them print it and shipped to you~ :)
i tried this out and it worked really well instead of paint pens sharpies also work you just gotta make sure to layer. anyways I had a tad bit of trouble trying to get the white box to stay while in the phonto app and what you do is hit the share icon in the top right of the screen and hit use then it will pop up on your screen :) hope this helped someone

You can also use Microsoft Publisher instead of Phonto, they do the exact same thing (except the opacity part). More of this please!

In the midst of making one lmaoo, Did you go with the glossy or pearl finish when you ordered the photos from shutterfly? And how did the quality of the picture come out?
i did glossy!! and the picture quality was good. just make sure that when you save the album cover picture to your phone, the picture itself is good quality. as long as the digital image is good quality then the printed picture will be good!

i’m a bit confused on the hanging part. i get you of course put them on the bottom to have the glass sit, but i don’t get how you’d put them on the top as well, i’m assuming the same way but the clips are upside down so it “locks” the glass? i’m a visual learner lol

a tip! i would recommend reversing the the piece that you are painting and THEN printing it out. after you trace it, you can just flip it over and trust me, it looks soooooo much better and cleaner.

You can print from shipping stores (like fedex or ups) either in store or have the documents shipped to you!

every time i try and change the size and rotation the width and ratio changes even when i have wrap text on!
in the “size & rotation” tab, make sure the “lock aspect ratio” box is selected!

Nice. You can use print on vinyl and/or sticker paper stick unto plexiglass and glass as well. Especially if you don't have a steady hand to draw
