While motorized things may seem more convenient at first, motors can burn out; batteries need to be charged or changed, and in a power outage, they're stuck in whatever position they were in until the power is restored. And built-in monitors mean you're stuck with them, even if they break. Nothing on this planet lasts forever.
I agree Chris that’s why I am not impressed. I saw that movie can’t quite recall the name but everyone lived in an high rise apartment with all this modern tech and the power went out people couldn’t get out couldn’t get food nor water. Modern technology had become a horrible trap. That’s why no thanks with all this creative design stuff.😮😮😮😮what about ball bearings and wheels no need for electricity plus it will keep one in shape moving things about. Power goes out no problem😊😊😊😊
Yeah well everything breaks, that's true. But this also holds true for non motorized things. Apartments everywhere are becoming increasingly small. Everyone these days needs solutions to cram more into a a smaller and smaller footage. And it's not like people live in the same place forever. As long as it's easily serviceable all these gizmos will do the trick fine enough
@@adastra79 Easy solution - don't buy a small apartment. It is not trendy to do but rather just developers being greedy. If people fought back against that then you would get more common sized living areas. These gizmos also don't solve any issues as the apartments would have already been made with rooms etc. That center console suite thing is literally taking up more free space that it helps save.
Well, do what family vans do: make sure there's a manual option w/a motorized component. Automatic doors can be opened & closed manually as well, & it's not that hard to build those in.
I am a beginner to woodwork, the main test I have with this bundle th-cam.com/users/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt is that I think that its hard to settle on a choice of the plan and outline to use as there are a large portion of them there. Nonetheless, I like the simple stride to step directions laid out there.
1:11 Not everyone watches these videos and know about the secret compartments or has a magnet. It has to be advertised and customers have to know about the compartments and if they're easy to use before they can chose to buy it or not. It can also just be for fun, or people can make one with a lock.
Tada! Its a futon with an extra step that wont add enough comfort to be worth the effort it takes to get it back into the pillowcase. ..why is it on this list?
The picture that turned into a clothes hanging/drying rack. I also like the sliding room for extra space and the kitchen table flip up computer station. So cool.
The good thing about these clever designs for compact urban living spaces, is that it gives more incentive for developers to not make apartments large enough for people to actually enjoy living in.
I like so many of the various products shown on this channel. Unfortunately, most, if not all, are from retailers in Countries outside of the U.S. What I do enjoy, though, is that I can do my own search of similar products. 😂
@@iCreatived Thank you for sharing these links. I was so happy to see some in the Eurozone bc that's where I live. Shipping costs from the US are pretty high rn. Also the UK is fine but Brexit delays everything, so I'm staying with the Eurozone for purchases rn. As always, I subscribe for the great concepts, thanks for putting these together 😊
Yes, let's have hinged, visibly bouncy bunk beds for kids who like to jump and rough house, and include a feature to literally dump to the top occupant when they hit the wrong thing, or when their sibling wants to prank them. It saves space, sure, but it doesn't seem to have actually been designed or built with kids in mind.
I like the side tables which have so many different ways to hide valuables or important papers within a very limited space. You just never know when your living space is going to be broken into and you didn't have time to go to the bank to access your safety deposit box. 😢
А кровать не упадёт сверху на сидящих на диванчике людей? А вдруг автоматика или крепление какое-нибудь не сработает? Представляю реакцию ничего не подозревающих гостей...
Most of them lack realitic functionality and just take up what would otherwise be free space. Not to mention a couple of these rely on having hardwood /laminate floors - where I am its mostly carpet.
If someone is sleeping on bed and by mistakenly your child press the fold baton. You will be automatically fold on top of your roof. If someone is working and software working not good you will be jailed in your walls like ANAR KALI in 🇮🇳 india. Furthermore repairs cost of these things are extremely high and skilled worker can do. Ideas are extremely good and can change future trends but they have there own Faults which will be clear after use. Even single iron stick to single bolts can fail whole System and thing.
Although it's interesting, actually having these in your home seems pretty annoying. I'd rather just have furniture that I can use right away than having to assemble and disassemble a bunch of stuff.
Which of these inventions impressed you the most?
ORI stuff
@@eskanderx1027 Yes, I saw the bed that drops down from the ceiling on an episode of HGTV.
Literally that number 2 was sick! I would definitely buy if on the market
I really liked the pull down pegs and shelf that looked like an art piece. I could really use that.
None of these. They don't solve any issues but rather cause more inconveniences.

Magnetic energy will eliminate normal elec grid power. Not an issue. This is just around the corner. Think forward... Great things coming.

Thanks for telling the world about the secret compartments. I'm sure the consumers really appreciate it 👍
That totally doesn't ruin the purpose.

The sofa-bed at the end seems pretty comfy to me 🤩

Great ideas and furniture but I bet they are very expensive.
Mostly!
I make it €4k for the WFH desk from the Netherlands. I guess it depends on whether you can get tax back for home office items.
The last bed shown for guests that folds up and available in bright colors was Brilliant.
Excellent!

I like all of them.
I like the picture frame that is also a clothing hanger.
Love the WM organizer
I LOVE the first work table and the night stand!! Everything has grand ingenuity!!!

Since most people can't afford the furniture anyway, it shouldn't increase the motivation to build large enough apartments too much.
Loved the bed that goes goes up vertically and than you have a living room 👍

0:45 nice but my vertical mouse won’t fit in that tiny gap. I’m assuming my apex 7 won’t either.

There so many options for people who live in those Tiny Houses..especially the flat hidden wall hooks/shelves

1:32 je ne mets jamais rien dans tout ce qui peut s'emporter ; surtout dans le czd de ce petit meuble facile a lever 😉

Where is the foldable wooden wall peg systems available?
The last one
i don't like automated thing depended too much on energy and god damn slow...i love those bed thing.
I would never buy that Ori stuff unless I can configure it manually.
I see that first table would need a lifetime supply of BOUNTY... The bed... in the end.
Answering the question of at the start: Because of money.

сloset with bed and table !!!
Why does the host sound like the clam none ADHD version of Lexi from Mkay >
Why crowd p using traditional furniture?? Because this space saving stuff is outrageously expensive.
