That's super cool! Instead of selling your kidney for buying top quality rod, assembled by the producer, with top quality control, now you can make the rod by yourself! And it's cheaper! Something like IKEA for fly rods 😁
Personally, I think you put too much tape on blank. Theoretically, you need to leave more space for epoxy to contact （fill) directly to bank. Best of all ,use arbor instead of tape. V-fishing ,Weihai, Shandong.
