I love this, and I love that I dont understand shit about that file with the weird c64 executables. This song freaking rocks though. I am hoping some guitar-god will make shred-cover of it at some point. It would be the shreddiest shred song ever. :)
I've a lead guitarist at the live show that does exactly that. Shredding in sync with chiptunes. Here's a video of him shreddling CLS.NFO instagram.com/p/CisicZ8s9ez/?hl=en
Hi, Elder0010 here: the 2001 with the chiclet keyboard and the tape came first. the first model had 4K ram and a bugged version of cbm basic. just a while later 8K models came out, still with the chiclet keyboard. the one in the video is a 8K one but it has a ram / rom board with the updated basic 4.0 roms and the maximum of 32K available for this machine. The one with the big keyboard is the pet 2001-N which features a re-engineered board but it’s 100% compatible with the 2001. the only perk is that lowercase and uppercase characters are reversed in the character rom (but this issue is present only when using lowercase mode which excludes some PETSCII graphical characters to allow lowercase letters). there are some differences in video memory addressing but nothing that can create incompatibilities unless you’re doing some very obscure trickery used in my demo A BRIGHT SHINING STAR (you can find it on my channel). the 2001-N is also known as the 3032 / 3016 / 3008 (30 = basic 3.0 the other 2 numbers are the amount of ram). later the 4032 model came out, sporting a CRTC chip for the video and a piezoelectric buzzer (which can be added to previous models). as a matter of curiosity , commodore vic 20 and 64, both marketed after the PET era, are still using the basic 2.0 instead of 4.0. compared to the vic 20 and 64, the pet can be considered as a business machine, and even if it’s older it has some extra things like 2 tape interfaces and the built in IEEE interface for the floppy disk drive, which is a parallel one (the c64 and vic 20 have a serial one which is way slower). the pet 2001 is part of the holy trinity of the first microcomputers (Pet / apple II / Trs80)!
This song to me is what defines MBR as a band. An absolute symphony of sound, perfectly capturing the essense and style of the group in just one song.
The first time I heard you was on 'One finger dead puch' after that I found you on Spotify and it was pure magic!!!!.... thank you..

While hearing this, TH-cam suggests lots of baroque music videos. Which is not surprising, for MBR is the baroque of computer age.
real ones know this song is from interrupt request album
ci sarà mai un nuovo virtuaverse? 😄
nAice
Loaded the image to an emulator then red the .DIZ message, some people don't have access to a C46 😭 (YET!) cool thing tho
I don't believe a PET is producing this sound.
music is obviously mounted on the video :)
My god Copernicus, what makes you think that?
Огонь!
