- Today i listened to Sarah Geronimo and her live version of Creep, by Radiohead. I really enjoyed her singing in this one and its clear to see she is a fantastic singer. My goodness that's full of emotion you can see she almost cry the way she deliver every word coming out she felt like she wroted the creep song.
Sarah G. is the Asia's Queen of Pop/Popstar Royalty of the Philippines...she is the highest paid Singer/Performer, endorser, actress(3x Box Office Queen) and a genre killer...she is the most humble, shy, down to earth, no diva attitude. Sometimes, reactors forget the message of the song as well. Most of the times they only waited for the high notes. Sarah was delivering a message to her fans as well as her bashers eventhough she is most loved artist and has high respect for everyone both the older singers/legends and new singers eventhough she is now a legend herself, a superstar to be exact those bashers are mainly jealous because their favorite singers could not make it pass Sarah's success. Sarah offers more than ballads and high notes. She is very simple out of the stage and camera with her superstar status but when performing on stage she is a powerful/monster performer hence she was also dubbed as the best female performer in the Philippines.

Thank you for reacting to the Philippines' highest paid singer. She's a superstar and a multi-talented artist. A genre killer or a vocal chameleon as most reactors call her. Sarah is the Pop Superstar Royalty of the Philippine Music Industry. I wonder why you can't connect to her emotions when she's described as a story teller by her reactors. A matter of fact, that song fits her. It is all about her story because at a very young age she started working to support her family. She was almost deprived of her freedom to do the things she loves outside show business. Her fans can relate to her performance and even other reactors. She has that crying sound to cry her heart out loud because she feels like she's a creep.
Im not sure why I couldn’t connect. I felt like some of the ‘emotion’ was forced in parts and even if it wasn’t, that’s just how it made me feel at the time

You're the only one who never felt the emotion in here. Maybe that's the reason why she is in the industry and the voice coach and you are "just" a listener (as u said too).

Her vocal range is not as high as the others, but she can offer you the entire music industry, name any genre, she'll do it.

The song talks about pain, being misplaced and is crying to be heard/noticed. She never sing to impress her listener (technically) but express the song and let the listener understand the song. When she sings live, she doesnt care about perfect performance, perfect style and vocal, she will cry even if it makes her voice crack, that's what the song needs anyway, a real cry. Dont you think why she chose to sing this song in a harder placement, a voice that is hard to control, is because the person that singing is in pain, crying out loud and someone who wants to be in control. And the climax is a real cry out loud. You focus too much on technicalities that you forgot the real story of the song.

(yes its a concert, not contest. It is more personal than "your technicalities". You wouldnt wanna ask her to go higher (even if she can) she wouldnt do it if its not necessary. She got the best growl and headvoice in ph but she will never show it in every song just to impress her listener.

isn’t Creep a defeatist song tho? lyrics wise? hence the stylistic choice to do this arrangement. By far the storytelling on this performance is top tier.

I love Sarah but when it comes to vocal ability & style, Morissette is the queen, no doubt, but that's just the cycle of life, before Sarah, there's Regine, and before Regine, there's Kuh. Someday, Morissette will be older and a new younger & probably better and might be hotter than Morissette, but until then, Morissette is the best, no doubt, but I also love Katrina, Gigi, Lea, KZ and many more just the same. They are all very talented. I can't choose...simply impossible. I'd go crazy, so I just love them all 😂
