After his popularity declining, having those accusations thrown at him, losing some important contracts and having such little support (aka being dropped like a hot potato), it's no wonder he chose a different path. Nah, the fall of Tobuscus didn’t start with the allegations. It ENDED with the allegations. Toby got caught up on creating books and mobile games and started to upload WAY less content. By the time the allegations were public, Toby had already lost most of his viewers.

It’s so alien to me to consider the fact that Tobuscus was once an absolute juggernaut of the platform, only for him to degrade in relevancy to the point that I genuinely haven’t heard his name in, as far as I can recall, over a year.

Pewdiepie is a good example of this tbh, I’m not much a fan of his brand of humor but I know he changed a lot since back then. Back in TH-cam’s “golden age” pewdiepie was also known for screaming and overreacting constantly while doing let’s plays, but now him and his content has matured a lot and his humor has changed so he kept a lot of his older audience
Yeah, I've never heard of him until now, but I secretly love watching those "What ever happened to..." shows. I find it's a great way to see someone's entire career, summarized. You get to know them on a deeper level. Now if I go back and watch his old videos it'll feel more intense 'cause I now know where he ended up. Is that weird? 🤔

Tbh it was going down before then. He was the first youtuber I had every subbed to and it was because of his Minecraft series. It’s sad to see what has happened to his channels and I continue to wish he somehow can come back and be relevant again.
After the whole Etika thing that happened recently, I kind of have been getting a little more worried about people with major presences on TH-cam. Someone better be checking up on him.
I miss him a lot. His videos were like all I watched on TH-cam when I was little. I hope he’s doing alright. I know that he loved what he did and it was devastating to see his happy, positive platform basically taken from him.

And a rape allegation is extremely hard to prove when the people involved are partners or former partners. All they can do is just say it. Rape is surprisingly difficult to prove in this case because they can just claim it's consensual sex because all they can really test is if you had sex with them. He did nothing to prove his innocence. They nothing to prove he was guilty. I would look at him with suspicion but I'm not taking sides either way. I recommend you do the same.
These are just facts. When women happen to lie about rape. Do they even think about the tens of thousands of women who have actually gone through it? Is hurting one man, or anyone else, really that worth it? It's so sad, because after so many lies from so many different people, there could be so many women telling the truth, but people don't believe them. That's heartbreaking.

I think it would have been relevant to the video to point out, that one of his exes actually somewhat defended him.You showed Jaclyn Glenn's video as if she accused him of sexual assault as well, but she actually described how her experience with him was the opposite. If she seemed like she wasn't a 100% into it, he would lose all interest in sex. She did however confirm the drug misuse and how he was a serial cheater. Still, I think it would have been good to mention that (as far as i'm aware) only the first allegation was about sexual assault, the others mostly described him as an asshole.

Maybe he is guilty? Just because you like him doesn't mean these several women who he used to date happened to be psychopaths to the extent where they wanted to ruin his life and gain no money but gain much hate from the bigger names fan base in the process.
