If she did tell us that she was never an archon from the very beginning back then and it opened up to the whole crowd of audiences at that moment, everything Furina had done for the past 500 years would've been for nothing...
Man, Furina was so broken in that moment that even with the waters rising and everyone "dying" around her she didn't even stand up from that chair, what the traveler and the rest did to her to get the truth was just too much
I think the prophecy will still played out in a different way if the traveler didn't do it. Celestia writes the outcome but the means to reach it is random well that's my theory
I was so sad we or Neuvilette didn't at least apologize at the end to Furina after learning the truth of her turmoil. Hearing she just packed and bounced left a bad taste in my mouth.
Many English comments praise EN, and many Japanese comments praise JP. In other words, HoYoverse has perfect localization. according to the tastes of each country.

Neuvillette's voice in jp gives the impression of someone distant, that struggles to actually convey their emotions. It seems right to me that they have gone this way for him.
EN and JP VA sounds like Focalor already expected and accepted everything which is in line with her story while CN and KR VA sounds like she's happy the end has come and is savoring the final moments due to the higher and softer pitch
I like both perspectives! Even with the EN's more somber tone, she takes her last moments to dance, longing to be the human she's always wanted to be. And for the happier-sounding VA's, her dance feels joyous, making Furina's situation all the more upsetting.
For me EN VA is really doing a good job it just they need to improve whoever the one that gives direction to them.... furina EN voice its really good sometime it just like that one scene from 4.0 where she suddenly screech and screaming it kinda stain the character...
I loved Focalor's en voice so much, especially the difference between Furina's voice and Focalor's. Good, good touch. And hat's off to Neuvillette's en VA, he represented this scene perfectly: emotional, regretful, powerful and solemn. Literal chills.

Honestly, I really like the JP voice acting, im not used to Japanese so it sounds a little off, but that is to be expected, it is probably my second favorite after EN ☺️
I really love the CN and KR voices for Neuvillete. I really like the EN voice for Focalors because of how while Furina and her are the same person, they are vastly different and you could tell by the voices. The CN voice actor is also really amazing.
I really bawled my eyes out while watching this cutscene for the very first time. I wanted to give Neuvillette a gigantic hug because I'm sad whenever he's sad. I'm still recovering from this Archon quest........

i personally LOVE ray chase's voice for neuvi, but when i found out hiroshi kamiya was his JP voice i HAD to keep using JP. at first, i wished they went in a deeper direction with JP like they did with EN because he sure as hell is capable of that (i'm looking at you, levi ackerman) and at times his voice felt too high especially when compared to EN, but as the story went by kamiya's voice suited him just as much. JP is more gentle and cold while EN gives more of that high authority judge vibe. both have their own merits and are equally great.

My favs are JP Focalors and KR Neuvillette. For my taste, nothing can beat Korean oppa's voice for male voice acting, the same with JP seiyuu's voice for anime girl voice acting. I wish we could choose voiceover for each character like in widget.
Looking at the reviews, there are people who think they are happy because the Korean dubbing has a bright tone... However, the Korean Purina is an act that is happy to deceive Cheonri, but also has fear. Don't misunderstand everyone. The other translations were great too!
@@Rikisballs not truly. It's mostly gnosticism. And I get the archon's names are also biblical demon names. But Fontaine's quest are the most biggest and clearest of it being biblical and the whole plot of suffering for the people, a god sacrificing themselves to cleanse humanity's sins, furina being able to walk on water etc is a "messenger" of god, Noah's ark. So so many. Hence why this quest is so much more references to the bible. You don't see the other archon quest doing these lol

Feels like this is something lost in translation here, considering how CN Neuvilette is the only one that seem to have this bitterness or anger in his voice. Like he is angry at the heavenly principles for her hypocrisy also for causing the chain of events that ended with both Focalor's death and Furina's 500 years of suffering.
I am so glad that I decided to choose a Chinese voice acting! I had thoughts of changing to English, because I liked Neuvilette VA the most, but after hearing Furina, I decided to choose Chinese. When I heard his voice tremble passing sentence, I got goosebumps! it was gorgeous
Only CN? I thought EN did a great way of conveying his sorrow. The way how he takes that shaky breath, followed by his declaration of the verdict was perfect.

All of the VAs did a great job, but the Chinese and Japanese versions literally gave me goosebumps. English is my first language, but I speak Japanese and play with that audio so I was already familiar with how the scene goes in that version. Neuvillette's JP VA did really well at conveying the emotions others have pointed out were present in this moment, but perhaps more subdued than other VAs which I feel fits both Japanese society (as it was localized for) and the character as I came to know him. Such an emotional scene T_T
The heavyness of the breaths, then the "People of Fontaine, your sins are forgiven" with the short cut comma and whisper like "are forgiven"... It feels like he could barely end his sentence. At the end we see him there still getting over it... Its so heavy
It's such a sadness that neuv being the most powerful man in Fontaine but he can only watch what's happening. I feel the anger also includes being angry with himself that nothing he can do though he's powerful.
Its interesting how JP adds a subbtle nosie to when the droplets approach Furina, meanwhile Korea full on has her audibly crying. Meanwhile En and Ch dont have any sounds st all for her.
I kind of find the voice don't fit Focalors appearance...if only she could dial it back a bit and sound a bit more like a young big sister version of Furina rather than mommy...

각 나라의 버전을 듣고 어색하다고 생각된건 없었습니다. 각 나라마다 푸리나의 목소리 톤마다 처형 전 어떤 감정을 가지고 있었을지 추측하는 재미도 있는 것 같아요. 폰타인 마신임무를 보면서 영화 한편을 본 듯 여운이 깊게 남아 지금도 찾아보고 있습니다. 정말 훌륭한 스토리였고 끝난게 아쉽지만 다음 스토리를 기대하며 꾸준히 원신 흥행하길 바라겠습니다!
deadass my favourite cutscene in the entire game, i cried watching it the first time and i feel the urge to cry again just rewatching it i was pretty disappointed with fontaine at release but its definitely grown on me and is one of my favourite nations to play in at the moment damn you hoyo :')
Okay but Furina’s additional crying in Korean dub is literally so good like yeah she’s silently looking down but I imagine her to be sobbing quietly atleast
I feel like the English va did an amazing job portraying somber sadness and acceptance. The way their hushed voice lingers. You can almost feel the sad “goodbye.”. Great job on their end.

I think that all the VAs did such a wonderful job expresssing different emotions that the characters could be feeling, like focalors being terrified, yet also happy because her people don’t have to suffer anymore, neuvilette feeling angry, bitter, remorseful, conflicted, his voice trembling, the VAs managed to convey different emotions one might feel about what’s happening

感情を出すのが難しいという人間になりきれない、人外としての側面が表現されているようでjpボイス大好きなんですけどね。あと、声にはのらないが深い感情を持ってるっていうギャップが1番感じられるのも神谷さんの声なので大好きです

어떤 버전이든 처형당하는 장면을 4번이나 보는 것은 정말 슬픈일..
한국어 더빙의 음정이 높아서 기뻐보인다는 댓글이 많은데, 포칼로스의 목소리는 푸리나의 목소리보다 훨씬 고요하고 단조로우며, 침착한 목소리였습니다.
오히려 기뻐보인다는게 끝을 기꺼이 받아들이면서 자신의 계획대로 끝마치는 것에 기뻐하는 포칼로스의 진정한 모습에 가까워보여서 좋았어요!

JPとKRの表現の仕方はかなり似てるっぽい。KRフォカロルスはネイティブからすると、本当は人間として生きたかったし、死ぬの怖いけどそれを内側に隠して笑ってるように感じるらしい。
そのコメントを見た時日本と同じだ！って思った。
しかも韓国人がその後に「これはとても繊細な表現だからネイティブにしか通じない」って書いてあってもう共感の嵐。
原神もそうだけどほとんどの吹き替えって日本と韓国はテイスト同じ傾向にある スカラマシュとかも アニメの吹き替えも韓国は声から合わせていくからめちゃくちゃ聴きやすいです ステマとかではない

神谷さんの演技が怠けてるって海外の人に言われてるの見て、「？？？」となったけど、多分これ日本人にしかハマらない演技なのかなw
感情の起伏を最小限にしてきたから、最後のお別れのとことか宣言する時とかの表現が映えるんだよね。
あとは、声の高さが合わないんだろうな。海外の威厳ある立場のキャラって声が低くなりがちだし。
ちなみに四言語とも、宣言前の息遣いがとっても最高でした。ご馳走様です。

ありがとうございます。日本版も素晴らしいですが、英語版、中国語版、韓国語版もそれぞれ感情を見事に表現していて、どれも素晴らしいと思いました。
特に英語版のヌヴィレットの声優さん、龍王の権能を使う直前の息遣いがうめき声にも似た震えた音を表現していて、ヌヴィレットの感情が胸に突き刺さり感動的でした。
JPヌヴィレットの審判官として人ならざる者として感情を出しすぎない声が繊細で､だからこそヌヴィレットの「最高審判官...」からのセリフにある役を全うしようと覚悟する声色に心が打たれる
この冷徹なんだけどどこか優しさがある声がいいんだよなぁ...
JPのヌヴィレットは他言語に比べて感情薄めだけど、だからこそ「宣告」の前の吐息にどうしようもない悔恨と無力感が滲み出てるし、フォカロルスがくれた「500年に及ぶ役」を全うしようという意志を感じる

このシーンに関しては4言語で優劣はつけがたい。日本語話者の自分としてはJPがベストなんだけど、それぞれの言語の母語話者が、「自分の言語の演技が一番良かった」って感想を持てることはとても素晴らしいことだと思う。

JPの神谷さん演じるヌヴィさんの声は、やはり日本人にしかわからない良さがあるんだなって思った。なんというか、人になりきれなくて感情がうまく出せない……だけどふとした瞬間に「あっ……」と感情が漏れる……っていう演じ分け？がよく伝わってきて感動した。動画のシーンの最後の場面も無感情では決してない感じが圧巻だった。まぁ、日本語話者だから感じることかもしれないけど。
でもやっぱり、どの言語もめちゃいいよね。それぞれの演じ方があってそれぞれの良さがあって。

確かに映画的で感情がよく伝わるのはENとCNだけど、JPの神谷さんの演技は（伝任との差も相まって）人と馴染みきれているわけでは無いが心の奥底では人間とフリーナを愛している優しさやあたたかさを感じて好きなんだよなあ

否定するわけでもないし、ただもうJP音声に慣れすぎてるからだと思うけど、それでもやっぱり、性格や見た目とかに一番合ってるのは白フリも黒フリもやっぱJPだと思ってしまう。

한국어 보이스는 약간 오히려 그 상황이 몇백년간의 계획대로 라는 듯이 처연하면서도 체념해서 받아들이는 모습이 잘 드러나는듯
JPはどんな時でも公平で公正で平等に、感情的にならず客観的で中立な立場から全てを裁いて見届けるっていうヌヴィレットの無意識の意思と、それでも抑えきれなかった感情が息のわずかな震えと必死に抑え込もうとする呼吸から伝わってくる。
感情の波が極めて小さいヌヴィレットらしさも交えつつ、感情芝居をする。これは神谷さんにしか出来ない繊細な演技。
他の方も言ってたけど、それぞれの言語話者が自言語が一番！ってそれぞれの需要を満たせる声優が1番凄い。他言語の声優を乏しめるのはバカバカしいし無駄。そんなことする暇があるなら自言語の声優さんを褒めちぎりなさい。そっちの方がずっと有意義。

I really love the CN and KR voices for Neuvillete. I really like the EN voice for Focalors because of how while Furina and her are the same person, they are vastly different and you could tell by the voices. The CN voice actor is also really amazing.
The part when she starts to dance towards death makes me cry every time. So touching and heartbreaking...
I really bawled my eyes out while watching this cutscene for the very first time. I wanted to give Neuvillette a gigantic hug because I'm sad whenever he's sad. I'm still recovering from this Archon quest........
Guess it would have killed it if there was a scene where furina hugs neuvillette and cries her heart out.

한국어는 진짜... 너무 감정을 잘 녹여냈다고 느끼는게 포칼로스가 모든 걸 내려놓고 희생하려는 그 감정을 잘 넣었고, 푸리나가 진심으로 슬퍼서 흐느껴 우는 소리도 잘 넣었고, 느비예트의 최대한 슬픔을 참으려지만 마지막 한숨에 모든게 담기는 순간... 이 세 인물의 조합이 플레이하는 내 마음을 울렸다...
Nubilet heaving breathing and his judgement, you can hear all the mix emotion (from a stoic dragon), add so much to the feel! Well done to the voice actors and actresses!

i personally LOVE ray chase's voice for neuvi, but when i found out hiroshi kamiya was his JP voice i HAD to keep using JP. at first, i wished they went in a deeper direction with JP like they did with EN because he sure as hell is capable of that (i'm looking at you, levi ackerman) and at times his voice felt too high especially when compared to EN, but as the story went by kamiya's voice suited him just as much. JP is more gentle and cold while EN gives more of that high authority judge vibe. both have their own merits and are equally great.

My favs are JP Focalors and KR Neuvillette.
For my taste, nothing can beat Korean oppa's voice for male voice acting, the same with JP seiyuu's voice for anime girl voice acting.
I wish we could choose voiceover for each character like in widget.

@@Rikisballs not truly. It's mostly gnosticism. And I get the archon's names are also biblical demon names. But Fontaine's quest are the most biggest and clearest of it being biblical and the whole plot of suffering for the people, a god sacrificing themselves to cleanse humanity's sins, furina being able to walk on water etc is a "messenger" of god, Noah's ark. So so many. Hence why this quest is so much more references to the bible. You don't see the other archon quest doing these lol

@@Rikisballs ashikai or klementime are super great theory/explaination channels. They got genshin's plot very accurately. As for cutscenes.... Hmm you can just see genshin TH-camrs playthrough. I had to sit through 4hrs + of rewatching genshin's current update quest just bcus I love the quest haha it feels like a movie

Feels like this is something lost in translation here, considering how CN Neuvilette is the only one that seem to have this bitterness or anger in his voice. Like he is angry at the heavenly principles for her hypocrisy also for causing the chain of events that ended with both Focalor's death and Furina's 500 years of suffering.
I am so glad that I decided to choose a Chinese voice acting! I had thoughts of changing to English, because I liked Neuvilette VA the most, but after hearing Furina, I decided to choose Chinese. When I heard his voice tremble passing sentence, I got goosebumps! it was gorgeous
Only CN? I thought EN did a great way of conveying his sorrow. The way how he takes that shaky breath, followed by his declaration of the verdict was perfect.

All of the VAs did a great job, but the Chinese and Japanese versions literally gave me goosebumps. English is my first language, but I speak Japanese and play with that audio so I was already familiar with how the scene goes in that version. Neuvillette's JP VA did really well at conveying the emotions others have pointed out were present in this moment, but perhaps more subdued than other VAs which I feel fits both Japanese society (as it was localized for) and the character as I came to know him. Such an emotional scene T_T

The heavyness of the breaths, then the "People of Fontaine, your sins are forgiven" with the short cut comma and whisper like "are forgiven"... It feels like he could barely end his sentence. At the end we see him there still getting over it... Its so heavy

The CN version really hit different, the emotions i can feel how sad and angry neuvillete feel. It make me heartbroken for some reason 😭
It's such a sadness that neuv being the most powerful man in Fontaine but he can only watch what's happening. I feel the anger also includes being angry with himself that nothing he can do though he's powerful.
Its interesting how JP adds a subbtle nosie to when the droplets approach Furina, meanwhile Korea full on has her audibly crying. Meanwhile En and Ch dont have any sounds st all for her.

각 나라의 버전을 듣고 어색하다고 생각된건 없었습니다. 각 나라마다 푸리나의 목소리 톤마다 처형 전 어떤 감정을 가지고 있었을지 추측하는 재미도 있는 것 같아요. 폰타인 마신임무를 보면서 영화 한편을 본 듯 여운이 깊게 남아 지금도 찾아보고 있습니다. 정말 훌륭한 스토리였고 끝난게 아쉽지만 다음 스토리를 기대하며 꾸준히 원신 흥행하길 바라겠습니다!

I feel like the English va did an amazing job portraying somber sadness and acceptance. The way their hushed voice lingers. You can almost feel the sad “goodbye.”. Great job on their end.
한국의 포칼루스의 감정이 후련함이 느껴지거나 기뻐보인다는 평이 많은데, 한국인으로써 푸리나의 감정연기는 웃는것처럼 보이지만, 누구보다 인간이 되길 갈망했지만 그럼에도 죽음을 맞이해야 하는 슬픔을 느비예트에게 보이고 싶지 않아 애써 웃는 것으로 보입니다. 인간 푸리나가 자신의 속마음을 숨기고 매번 밝은 척을 해왔던 것을 생각하면, 신 포칼루스 또한 비슷한 행동을 할 것이라 생각이듭니다.
I think that all the VAs did such a wonderful job expresssing different emotions that the characters could be feeling, like focalors being terrified, yet also happy because her people don’t have to suffer anymore, neuvilette feeling angry, bitter, remorseful, conflicted, his voice trembling, the VAs managed to convey different emotions one might feel about what’s happening
