Thanks for the video, Kevin. If there is enough interest, would you consider demonstrating the J2000H on some straw hats? I've gotten pretty comfortable steaming my felts, but I've never tried doing a straw.

I should correct myself… in fact, I’ve owned this pink,J-2000H for 3 years already without any issues. It still feels new.
Everything is ultra heavy duty..the power cord, the base..they’re built like a tank.
The J2000H has a plastic covering,over a metal base.. It looks like an old 50’s film projector.
The J-1 & J-4000H have an almost granite-like material as a base, & less plastic.
They look slightly more industrial, and old fashioned,with less attention paid to designing the aesthetics, it’s equally as cool looking.
The j1 is best if you plan to leave it running and walk away from it..it will go for a long time on one tank.
The 2000H seems smaller without that big bottle on top, it’s compact and there’s way more room to work your hat on top. It holds enough water to do steam a few jobs, and still have water for the next couple of days.
I’ve never felt the bottle was too small, but at home,I turn the thing off after I’m done steaming. I don’t just let it run for an hour.. It will heat up my room too much,and you need time for the hat to cool when it gets too wet.
Steaming is heating and then letting it cool into place. If the hat is always hot, the process wont work correctly. Take breaks, turn off the steamer.. step away, let the hat cool, so your work can harden and cool into place. Once the hat is overly saturated and overheated, the steaming process stops working.
Steam, manipulate the hat, and let it cool. Wait. Then repeat. This is one of the biggest mistakes that folks make at the steamer. Keep stepping away, and let each part you do cool and set into place, before you steam anything else.

I do not, they’re very quick though. They send it out the same business day or next business day, and it’s usually a 3 day air thing if I remember correctly. Very,very good customer service..
I believe they even send you a loaner Steamer when you send yours in for repair. It comes in a cool padded shipping case, and when your steamer, you put a sticker on the loaner box, and UPS picks it up. I think they were out of the model I wanted, or something like that..
so they sent me a loaner steamer until my unit came into stock. It was all so generous,unnecessary and unexpected, I was ready to wait a week for it, and they sent me a loaner steamer to tide me over. They made sure I wasn’t without a steamer.
I ordered mine the other day and got it within a week.
You look very professional ☑️ if you lived in KY you would definitely get distilled water at the grocery. it’s only $1.39/gallon at the grocery store. The entire state sits on limestone and calcium leaches out everywhere. I just ran out of distilled water I use for things like the steam iron and the humidifier for my acoustic guitar 🎸 to prevent separation of the wood. I have one of those brushes and use it on my cowgrrl hats on the rare occasions when they come out. I’ll be living in them when I go out west 🌵. 👍☮️🌞🎸🎵🚵♀️🐾
