@han hana i think is more profesional to keep it cool 1st on collab , yet, i think some of them actually leave it off stream (and most of the time between their mates) so they can solve it or had time for vent. Then most of the time they address it later on free talk streams so people won't feel worried.
THE PROBLEM here is the fact who all of them has to put it because Coco's situation. People are saying they're able to see that Korone was able to talk about what was upsetting her....but she didn't say anything. She just said sorry and that she thought about a lot of things. What I see here, if I was one of those lowlife glass hearted bitches in China is that the tactics are working and will create division between the other members and Coco because the only reason they have to go to Members only mode is because Coco is with them. Will this put Korone off of streaming with Coco? Is she going to avoid groups with others if Coco is involved? Will this cause others to avoid streaming with Coco on purpose? I don't get what was getting to Korone and because she only made Korone noises, and is in general a weirdo that could literally be crying because she saw a ladybug fly out of her window, we'll never really know but it's not a good look for people trying to stand with Coco. Also yes, internet harassment is a really serious crime on both China and Japan. So they are doing something seriously bad, even if for them is trolling, and some of the antis are just people that wants to create hate against China by making everyone go nuclear.

Korone is very kind, and she's really tried to maintain a warm atmosphere. Last I checked she doesn't even post the standard rules in the video description because - and correct me if I'm wrong - she doesn't want the atmosphere to become too cold or something along those lines, among other reasons. She really wants to be able to freely connect with her fans. It's awful that this whole thing is necessary due to the cruelty and obsession of some irrational people.
I think it so, it's her idealism to care a lot about "her freedom of stream chat", like no slow mode, no rules in the description, and no membership only chat is also part of her idealism I guess.

And if we're really comparing Hololive 1st year, and Holostar 1st year or streaming then Holostars are about the same or even more so than the 1st year of Hololive. People's view are just extremely skewed nowadays because you see normal TH-camrs having 1M as a norm. I don't think people realize even having 50k or 100k subs is absolutely amazing.
And there's nothing to be worried about, the boy's hard work the past year have really shown. They're steadily growing, and everyone has reached 50k subs milestone. So 3D is just a matter of time.

But on the other hand, the fact that korone crying on stream because member only chat, and that most probably because there is coco on the collab, is really not good for coco. Coco might think that its all her fault that korone is crying. I love both of them but coco really had it rough so i hope korone crying like this doesnt make her feel down. I cant stand seeing coco break down again even though thankfully there is kanata for her.

@@pienpien8447 Korone is actually very similar to Coco in her being bothered not by the antis themselves, but by having to do something that affects her viewers. Coco has mentioned before as well that she doesn't care about the insults or the spam but doesn't like that her viewers get a worse experience and doesn't like to have to do members only chat because it's worse for her non members. The only time Coco cried from the spam wasn't because of the spam itself but because chat devolved into a fight between the antis and the viewers.
So while I also feel like Korone crying in some way makes things worse, I also can't in any way blame her or judge her for it. She's really geninuely bothered by having to do members only because of the experience for her fans, but *still* chose to take part in this collab with Coco knowing she would have to do it. IMO that's still far better than turning down the collab.

Due to assuming TH-cam works on Bullet chat like NicoNicoDoga or BiliBilib they think their message will fly across the screen when really it's dumped into a corner of the screen if at all. But overall they just do it because it's so easy and assume attacking anyone who dares associates with Coco will turn them against her.
It doesn't but they're not exactly living in reality you see. A LOT of people aren't. After all every time they do this they think they've "TOTALLY PWNED COCO!" when they've effectively TP'd a house. But in their group it's another VICTORY for their cause.

This is why Koro-san will always be my favorite hololive girl. I love them all equally, but Korone is something else.
Its sweet for her to care abt every single one of her fans even if they are not members
Solidarity has to be forged. That's why Coco's base is so strong because the on-site reactions to her locking chat is met with collective "ok" and "we understand kaichou" replies.
For it to spill over to other members during a collab, it takes some time to understand that the girls need this to protect their own streams from potential trouble outside.
It's not easy, for they are also responsible for each other's enjoyment and safety.
I should also mention that Coco (or perhaps her mods) used an alternative method where her Free Chat room was used as secondary medium for non-members to respond to her, albeit its less exciting than the primary stream itself.
I hadn't heard there was an alternative chat - that's a good, if imperfect, solution, given that 90% of the problem at this point is youtube's comment system (antis gonna anti, and sadly, as Hololive grows there will always be antis, even if the chinese get bored) - if there was a way to impose a limit on posters until their account was X days old, it would make spam substantially more difficult.

They love seeing vulnerability on screen because it is an indication that what they're doing is working, and they get off on it. I wouldn't say that the girls should become cold and heartless, but generally it is easier to visibly perturb compassionate people than those who aren't.
