Great video, nice to see without snow. Drove Bennett Pass yesterday (11/12/2022) with a bit of snow in a 2wd van. Super ill advised, I wouldn't recommend that to anyone. We were prepared in a group of 3 vehicles for support and had proper self-rescue equipment. The most challenging part for us was getting a bit high-centered on the ruts in minute 6 of your video (we came down that hill). We caught up to a group ahead of us when one of them in a 4wd Toyota slid the back of their truck off the less desirable side of the road on the corner at 5:07. We made it safely from one end of the pass to the other with a great story and a memory that we'll not soon forget.
That is so awesome and thank you! Went out yesterday on some Washington trails. Snow got deep! Video soon to come. Glad you made it safely, can't imagine that trail in the snow!
Definitely learned early on that we have to keep an eye on that. Easy to have a huge bug massacre right in front of the camera. 😆 Thank you very much for watching!! More to come shortly
Thank you! Was a fun afternoon out. Would have been nice to camp but just went out for a day trip. Plenty of other trails in the area also, ready to explore this summer. Thank you for watching!
This trip was one of our favorites and would certainly go back. There are all kinds of 4x4 trails and logging roads in this area open to dispersed camping. We're sure you'd have a great time!
Yes you can. There are several clearings along the way where others have built fire rings with great views. I certainly plan on going back there to do some camping as well. Thank you for watching!!
I did not see any reason why you could not camp there. Someone had built a large fire pit and there is plenty of room for several rigs. Just a typical logging road turn around and fairly flat. I would not hesitate camping there personally. 45.28656, -121.59982. There is a much easier route there as well on Google maps.
Offroading is where challenges become triumphs, and this video is a testament to that spirit.
Thank you very much!! Certainly will go back there to that area. Will see if we can find another challenge near by. Thank you very much for watching!!

I'm envious of your clean windshield....1:43

On my road trips, I can't believe how many times that bugs would hit my windshield at exactly eye level. Lol@@woggersoverlandadventures

Great video, amazing views. That definitely looks like a road I need to checkout this summer.

Nice pics and thanks for sharing details.
The other end comes out by Meadows. We were just up there on Friday to take the kids sledding in the snow.
Yup, Right where 35 splits off of highway 26 heading towards Hood River. Great area to explore.
Sweet! Nice viddy Paul 🤘
I am always looking for a new location for an overland trip.

can you camp anywhere along this?

Can you camp up there at the 10min mark?
