I have a 2009 E89 Z4 but no monitor in the top of dash compartment and really want to retrofit CarPlay into this classic. Does this system come with an option for adding the screen? Is there a video for that?
Do local aftermarket stereo installers take these kits and do turnkey installations? I don’t have the time or expertise to do that on my own.
I’m in Austin, TX USA.

You will need a 12.3" Android touchscreen with Wireless Apple CarPlay built in!

@@incartechie Thanks for the reply. In case anybody else has this same requirement, I was able to to order an Android touchscreen with Wireless Apple Car Play from CarNaviPlayer and have it installed in place of the storage box by a local car audio shop. I recommend anyone doing this print the specs and discuss with the shop before purchasing. It has been running well for 3.5 years and several generations of my iPhone.

What do you mean with armrest original aux port? Does it mean there will be a cable running around in the center console?

yes，an aux cable is connected in the armrest box.
