- In today's Viewer Challenge Rebuild, I'm going to try to rebuild Tottenham Hotspur in the style of Ange Postecoglou. This means that I can only use Australian, Asian or English players! Can I finally win a trophy for Spurs? Check out the video to how I did in this FM23 Spurs Rebuild!

@@coachroan ah brilliant! I think taking them big giants down will be a challenge itself. How about a task too for finding the next Pablo Aimar from Argentina who was one of the best players ever I think. Can’t wait to see the video!

The weird part of this season as a Spurs fan has been watching Sarr become the CM that Ive been screaming that they needed since 2020.
In my saves I always gravitated towards getting a Gravenberch or Szobaslai, an attacking minded CM who can pass the ball around in the Final 3rd or move into the channels to score.
Little did I realize that Sarr, a dude whom I never thought much of when they got him, was the exact player they had on their roster.
Now he isnt highly rated in FM23 but IRL he is doing everything needed in that position but also doing it far better than I would have ever managed.
Sarr has gone from "why do we have this guy" to "this guy can flat out ball". Nothing flashy about his game, he just goes out and makes things happen by almost always being in the right place in the right time. He is the textbook definition of "playing within yourself" and he has become the surprise of the last.......decade. He just controls the ball, doesnt give it up in possession, Constantly has his head up to make plays when the opportunity presents itself and has been wonderful 3 games in.
I completely agree! Didn't see Sarr stepping up at all, or even getting into the team really, but boy has he shown his worth!
Who do you think Spurs need to sign now to take that next step? Or are you happy with the current squad?

do you simulate the whole season when doing a rebuild or do you play each and every game?
I always simulate the entire season for rebuilds, as playing each game would take way to long to create the video

I think Matt Ryan didn’t want to join Tottenham because he played for Arsenal a couple of seasons ago (IRL), he was there on loan if I remember correct! I know sometimes players don’t want to join previous rivals on FM sometimes!

Rebuild Juventus. They only qualified for conference league for next season. Also try and win the champions League with making smart signings. Finally, dont get into financial trouble like Juventus did.

Juve rebuild but you have to make a prpfit every season.
After thousands of hours and hundreds of tries in the game, I think I discovered a very logical tactical instruction and it works amazingly. I'm starting to tell; Now you know that in today's football, the field is divided into three. Here are the 1st Defense area, 2nd Region midfield area, 3rd Region Offensive area. When we give the press order ahead, the players start pressing in the 3rd Zone. Everything ok so far. However, while most users instruct "Press on the front", they also instruct "Press on the Opponent Goalkeeper". Yes, this is quite logical. But; Let's come to the point where I discovered. What if we don't give the "Push to Opponent Goalkeeper" instruction while pressing on the front? This is exactly what happens: The game divides the field into 4, not 3... That is, it allows the opponent to pass first from the back. When the opponent comes a little towards us, our players press and catch the opponent as he comes out. What is the most dangerous moment in football? Losing the ball on the way out of the defense... Many people now understand what's going on.
Very well explained my friend! It can indeed be very valuable to let the opposition pass it to their defence to then start your press, as long as you set your up team and tactic for it!
@@coachroan yes, this "Prevent short gk distribution" option really harms rather than benefits. Please just tested it

This rebuild is part of my Viewer Challenge Rebuild, and the challenge for this rebuild was that I could only use English, Asian or Australian players! So while Kulusevski is without a doubt an amazing player, he was inelligble for me in this challenge
