@@IndRepair been there and done/do that......and still do it. I think the biggest kicker is when we spend 2 hours working on a 2-cycle that we know CAN'T BE SCORED only to pull that muffler too late in the game and damn it...... scratches! Those darn scratching cats get in there, some how. P.S. - I still kickmyself on occasion 😂🤣😭
SPC-7200 spark check'r looks like they are back in stock online most places. We use a distributor but when they were out of stock everywhere I bought one at www.rcpw.com/trillium-spc-7200-spark-checkr-engine-spark-tester-ignition-analyzer-for-small-engines-motorcycles-and-more/
I have a 7000 Elite that is super tough to start. Weird, but I have to rock the entire generator hard 15 or so times before trying to start it each time. It tries but dies quick. I do this about 20 times(!!) and she eventually starts up. Any thoughts? I’m pretty sure the tank doesn’t have debris clogging it as gas flow well through the hose to the carb. Weird one….thanks!
I restarted the generator and shortly after it started running, I heard a popping noise and it stopped running. I finally got power restore after a full day of running the generator. What do you think the poppinoise is?

It was an NGK BPR6ES...sure don't see many of them with this issue!

Probably a stuck valve or bent push rod but could be simple as bad fuel or a spark plug occasionally. Start with the basics
