Jokic is so unique no one could predict his potential. Here in Serbia some people knew he is extremely talented and and they knew about his willingness and ability to learn and improve. Even them couldn't recognize how far it could go. In my opinion nobody even today can predict how far it could go.

That's because we have this idea that American basketball is so much better and competitive. A player like this could never be so underrated. It has to do with the criteria too. European players always have that origin handicap. Draft selection is often defective meaning too many hyped players vs underrated ones. Kawhi was selected 15th and in that same draft class Jimmy Butler was drafted 30th and Isaiah Thomas 60th. That was the year that taught me too many specialist don't know what the fuck they're doing.

When Curry came in and changed the league forever, every young kid said, If I can just try and do what he does I can be an NBA player. Jokic is similar in the vein that he is doing what no player like him has done before. But we ain't getting many Jokic imitators 😂 It's going to be ridiculously hard for a seven foot three hundred pound man to try and copy what he does 😬 he is the push back of the modern NBA. They changed the rules to make the big man insufficient. They made the league about passing, shooting and technical skill and guys like Dwight and Blake Griffin who were projected to dominate the league in the 2010's were replaced by guys like Steph and Harden. Should of been MVP this year. He will get finals MVP and a championship. To think he started so late just shows how naturally talented and resilient he is as a player. Respects his teammates and leads by example. Both Joker and Butler deserve to win but Denver are too strong.

Imagine if the Cavs picked Jokic over Wiggins on that Draft night and then he was traded to the T-Wolves for Kevin Love and it'll be a blessing for that team and KAt/Jokic duo will be unstoppable. 😁

If that happened Jokic wouldnt be in the NBA anymore...cause the pressure of 1st pick is insane...seeing Jokic needed 3-4 years to get productive and 6 to become dominant i think media would demolish him by then...this was much better for him cause expectations were low... Same would apply for Giannis

Wiggins behind the back windmill was always one of the sickest dunks I seen. How he did it so casually too just looked flawless. Seemed so much quicker in HS too, but college he definitely had some Ben Simmons vibes like he didn’t have that dog in him. Seemed to disappear for long stretches at Kansas. That team shoulda won the tourny really.

I’m curious how Embiid has proven he can be a title contender with the “right team built around him” at 9:20. He’s only failed to make it past the second round. He has never contended for a title, even with a former MVP and multiple time scoring and assist title holder on his team. Your comment was a straight-up lie.
