Just for me to get it - the need for this business modelling is because in our organizations we have an (extreme) overhead of all types of tools? And the business model for TaskTop is to extract relevant information from all those tools? (in order to measure flow?) Aren't there proper tools already out there that can do most of these things within 1 tool? Why would requirements gathering go via Jama? Why not via Jira directly? Is that a organizational scale thing?
You are right diagramming/tracking value stream/etc may be able to done with your current tools. yet the tool they are selling does connect what most org have disparate interfaces for different artifacts (e.g. emails, chat, ticketing, svc, release notes, calendar, etc). in the talk, she mentions that they were using spreadsheets to start out with, so you don't need the automation provided by their tool if you get the information that you need.
