Cold ramen noodles for TSUKEMEN is a travesty. It's best when noodles are hot. Summer time cold dipping noodle dishes are are HIYASHI men(noodles) categorically.

Anyways I recommend TENKAIPPIN Ramen Restaurant when you are in Japan it’s originally from Kyoto and has totally different style from other ramens, maybe the densest soup in Ramen industry
I love tsukemen! I actually had some in the Japan airport and it was the best ramen I ever had in my entire life.
i know you guys just moved to new york, so you guys should try a place that has soba dip called Cocoron (my favorite is the pork kimchi dip)! they have two locations but i recommend the one on kenmare street, it's bigger than the delancey one :)
Nice video guys. You should come to my town Bandung in Indonesia. There's a lot of unique food here that you should try, especially the Traditional Food. I hope you consider it to try some food in Bandung.

My favorite place to eat Tsukemen in Hawaii shut down. 😢 But Ramen in Hawaii is expensive. Maybe because of the time involved in making the soup but average $13-$20. Depending on where you go and toppings. There is a place called Goma Tei which is Sesame based and it is my absolute favorite!

Seems like you are covering a lot of the noodle styles. Try my Summer favorite Hiyashi Somen - Cold Somen noodles. Cold skinnier noodles with a light sauce on the side. Buckwheat, Soba noodles would be nice to cover too.
At 2:51 I'm shocked. I've never seen a cup ramen that looked that good. All I get are yellow noodles, corn and peas. In shrimp we actually barely get shrimp. Everything I know is a lie.
never had the dipping noodles. I could tell right now I'd be a fan of it. noodles cant get soggy when they're on the side. Unfortunately I'm such a fan of the tonkotsu that its hard to order anything else. I refuse to order it spicy though, you order it spicy and you cant get the real taste of the broth (trick I learned from the waiter at Ramen Yamadaya in LA)
you guys should come to pensacola, fl and try out this local hot wing joint, Wingz 2 Go. they recently opened up a second store, and they're REALLY good.
I have eaten ramen in many places looking for good ramen I am sorry ramen sucks in California. Even little Tokyo has not good flavor. Japan is million times better then here. Kansai Ramen's the best in the world
I really don't know how long Tsukemen's been around here in Honolulu but I've only noticed it on menu in the last year or so. I do love it but some places stop serving it in August because it's a summer dish. But c'mon Hawaii is summer all year around.

In Singapore, you can get Tsukemen from Menya Musashi and they offer 2x, 3x, 4x and 5x noodles FOR FREE!
