We cruised on Avalon Vista on the Romantic Rhine Cruise Itinerary visiting Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Cologne, Rudesheim, Mainz in Germany, Strasbourg and Breisach in France.

Went on the Budapest to Amsterdam River cruise a few years ago. Wonderful. There are many all fares items included with the river cruises, ie: drinks, speciality coffees and excursions which you would not receive with an ocean cruise. This is probably why the river cruises are more expensive than the ocean cruises. Loved seeing Amsterdam again on your vlog.

We have an AirTag on our cat as he got out and got hit by a car survived, our vet was amazed, cost us $2200 Australian, we really love our cat and the AirTag gives us peace of mind. We beep lol😂

Good tip on taking a picture of the Suitecase. Could you do Royal Oasis of the Seas next? So you can investigate why they don't have a tea kettle in every room. A travesty really.

Amsterdam is great, we were there in September on Tauck Rhine cruise, our third trip there. If you want to go to the Ann. Frank house you need to get tickets on the first Tuesday proceeding the month you want to go. I recommend taking the train to Haarlem. It’s about 12 minutes, easy ride to a quaint old city. There’s a beautiful massive cathedral, a great brewery in an old church and the tenBoom house where a family helped Jews hide during WWll . Oh and an old windmill.

Enjoyed this to see how it compared to ours last week. So with you on the balsamic and olive oil, we loved it! Was looking forward to the honey on ours but we didn’t seem to have it 😢 assuming it must have run out on the previous cruise and as we were on the final cruise of the season they didn’t want to start another as that would end up being wasted.
I took a photo of the bottles of olive oil and balsamic and am now on the search for some for home lol! Oh shame about the honeycomb was delicious and something we have never seen before!

Hi there, love your vlogs. Would love for you to try a Scenic cruise, they are expensive but everything is all inclusive, all drinks 24hours!!
We are doing a Mediterranean cruise next May on Celebrity beyond then 5 days in London 😊

We love Amsterdam as well! And that truly is an incredible chip shop 😍 We had some before our baltic cruise on Koningsdam (which we hadn't expected to fit sailing out of Amsterdam but just about fit! Much like Joe getting in his DJ at the end of a cruise 🤣).

We loved Amsterdam as well. Unfortunately we can take several ocean cruises for the price of an Avalon river cruise so I doubt we’ll ever experience river cruising. That ship that pulled up next to you during your meal was crazy close. I think I would have jumped up from my seat if I saw that 😂. Love watching you guys and can’t wait to see more.
River cruising is definitely more expensive that Ocean however late deals can be had too! They do get so close but that add to the experience too! Thanks so much for watching!
Wonderful vlogs on your Avalon Vista Rhine River Cruise. They have been so helpful to us. We are really excited to be doing this cruise in April 23! It will be our first river cruise. Any suggestion on what to do in Amsterdam? We have a day and a half there before we join the tour!

We’re in Amsterdam in 2 weeks and have the option of the canal cruise.
Is visibility likely to be impaired if it’s raining?

The canals are narrow so you will still be able to see everything just fine. Recommend taking train to Haarlem, it’s an easy trip to a quaint old town.
As Traveler 1983 says you are close as they are narrow. Sadly you can never predict the weather!

unfortunatley my experience of Amsterdam and the Dutch wasn't very good . not going to go into detail encase i offend people. but i am glad your guys experience was good though 😉
