You should reel the way whatever works best for you. I'm right handed and reel spinning reels right handed as well. My reaction time and Hook set is just as good.
Excellent video and explaining the details of your technique. You're a natural teacher of technique. Its really important to explain every detail of a technique. I've been researching ned rigs on YOU TUBE videos for the past several months and finally you have given me the information I need to set up my arsenal for my next summer tournaments. THANKS FOR THE GREAT VIDEO. Keep putting these videos out there.
Great instructional videos while being very entertaining! Your angling knowledge and sharing the specifics with us is what I appreciate the most. Thanks and keep up your great channel
So that is awesome. I have been using that set up, weedless about 3.5 to 4 inch for a year or so because you also kinda talked about this last year in one of the practice videos. Thanks man, worked all year long on Morse. Just changed colors thru the year.
They have EWG ned heads that are weedless and effective. I use Owner’s and love them. Obviously not as easy to hook ‘em as with an exposed hook but I can throw those anywhere.
making sure im understanding the action right. you cast out and let it sink. then just pop it a couple times before bringing back? am I understanding that right? thank you for the video and info.
Thank you for the excellent presentation on the Ned rig. Probably the best I have viewed. Out here in AZ, the Ned seems to be less popular than flick shake. I use both; neither with great success. Our visibility is never good except for Havasu. Can you spare a moment to compare the two presentations? Thank you for any consideration.
Same in most local ponds near me in NJ. Drop shot much better finesse bait-suspend it just above the muck and Bob’s yer uncle. But the Ned does produce for me in highland reservoirs with rocky bottoms not too far a drive for me.
I'm new this forward facing sonars and I'm trying to do my research because I'm getting ready to take the plunge and from what I have gathered the current system is going to run me around 2,500.00. Please correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand I need a 1. graph 2 transducer 3. black box....does that pretty much cover it...those 3 items? and can anyone tell me what is the best one to get? largest screen I can get with that 2,500.00 budget and also If I decide to get 2 graphs and put one at the console can I get the same 2 graphs and network them with a ethernet cable. Any advise or help with this would be so much appreciated. Like I said I'm learning about these at the moment and trying to get the best deal for the money. Also...if anyone know of a company running a sale or a coupon/rebate on these would be great too.
Yup the bait works well also for pike and walleye, you should open with I trolled the lake and spot locked with live scope…let’s not pretend anything works with out finding the fish 1st 😂 every TH-camr gets 1 o the 1st cast. Fish from the dock and let’s see how many you can land in an 8 hour period. That’s why I got a bit and all the toys…it all works but fishing has become a bit boring with all the cheats
Your fishing that ned rig awful fast. I usually just drag it slowly on the bottom. Im just learning the ned and haven't had much luck. Maybe I need to pick up the pace.
Dude, when all else fails, nedrig nails. I've caught more fish off of the ned than any other lure. My other lures are jealous! It's almost like cheating...lol.
I adore your video! Your video was suggested so I checked it out. Just wanted to show some support 💗 I run a channel too. If you have a moment to check it out that would be amazing! 💜
Keep up the great content! I'm glad to see I'm not the only right handed person that uses spinning gear like that!

@@blay7263 I second that!

Great info. Ty for taking time to educate me.

Links to baits and terminal tackle would be helpful. Love the content!
One if my first bass was ned rig. Going back to it this year
I like that, can’t wait to try it. Dang Nabbit JW you did it again. Lol
First 200 view club! Keep it up jacob!

Hey thanks for theses informational videos. Love them
My pb largemouth came on the Ned rig. Big ones eat the Ned too
Great video

That’s a deadly bait below the dam I just love it

Great video! Can i ask you if you would fish this on a casting setup with light line?
Great info as always. Thanks for the info.
Great vids man learned a lot from you keep it up
I was wondering about the fall too. That’s definitely one of the keys to the ned
I’m gonna try this with the rugby head
Let’s go! Almost to 100k!!
Thanks man
Getem #HometownGuy 💯 thanks for the info 💪👏👏
Awesome tips and I appreciate it! I was missing what exact hook were you using?
My brother saw you at marks outdoors and thank you for signing my hat
What do you use 3 depth finders for? Im sure one is for 360 and another is down scan/gps/sidescan.
What lb line and is it floro.
He said 8# to 8# leader
say what I have been doing is putting that rattling ned on a chompers stand up shaky head and it does me fairly well.
Would you scent your baits?

i really wish the deadly nedly was more pratical here, its so fun, but you cant fish it through muck and algae.
Same here in south east Missouri
Same
Yup. Doesn’t work covered with slime.
@@cosmicninja6924 nothing works in the Texas waters I fish because of that slime

Ohhh yeah wheeler about to get his 100k plaque so that can be another great accomplishment to add to his timeline
This guy is pretty cool.
Does it matter what shape the weight is on the Ned-rig?
What terminal tackle are you using? I don't see it in the description.
What rod and reel are you using?
What’s you go to colors
How long is your leader length????
why do you cast right handed then switch to left hand would it not be more efficient to just keep it in your right hand and switch handle to left ?
It’s a bad habit 🤷🏻♂️
@@WheelerFishing lol yeah i have a few of them myself..... 😁
Dyslexic caster
What hook he said ?
What reel is that
okay but the googan ned? is it any better than a trd?
No I wouldn’t say so
That's exactly what I use and on smaller ned rigs I use the owner block head 1/0

Caught my pb today on a ned rig
A little unclear on the sinker/hook tackle set-up. Can you add link to your set-up
Thanks so much!
Still waiting for a hat that says “unreal!” Lol
2nd that...let's go marketing dept. !!!
Except spell it "UNREEL"... 😂
@@BrianParkerson YES!!!
Hi
Well I can’t catch a fish sitting on norris rn let’s see if I can’t take this advice and catch one!
Thanks for the tip. I'm tired of donating my Ned heads to the lake gods.
What's the difference in this and shakey head? Looks extremely similar...
Did he ever explain which spinning rod he was using

What kind of line is he using… *Fluorocarbon or monofilament?*
Fluoro
What the hell happened to all the tournament vids
Take a 5” lunker log and cut it off some....then bites it off 😂😂😂 “unreal” bro
Um abraço e um super like! Tiver tempo da uma olhada no meu!
I'm trying to figure out why the rugby head is better than just throwing the same worm on a shaky head...
UNREAL🍼

Show me muddy water it’s not always clear water
You might identify this as a ned rig, but that isn't a ned rig. If the bait don't float it's a worm and jig head. Elaztech.
First
Now show me some muddy water
That is not a ned rig or ned rig fishing. It is a shaky head
Your fishing it to fast and just drag it
OMG 😍💋 💝💖❤️
So Nice 💘💘💘💘💘💘
