It is tuberculosis. In Japan history way back to Heian period, which is the setting of this game, it was known as a deadly disease with no cure. There are records that said in the years the plague hit the worst, there were corpses all over streets , even in the Capital Kyoto. The amount of corpses were too many that people could not bury or cremate them fast enough.

Takiyashahime survived in the loop thanks to the half power Himiko shared with her when she was a child, but she had to watch literally everyone suffering because Himiko went insane. She bade farewell to her father who got trapped in the loop and went out to end this eternal suffering. However, Himiko was too strong for her to defeat on her own and she made a temporal retreat. That's when she met Seimei and they worked together to defeat Himiko. Seimei and Takiyashahime managed to free some of the people from the loop, but they failed to save a particular girl whose name was Eve (she refused to believe that her parents were dead and she disappeared from the loop). Takiyashahime was determined to end all of these sufferings and she managed to end her people's suffering by defeat Himiko with Seimei's help. After giving the other half of the artifact Ungaikyo (which eventually became a playable SSR shikigami), she bade farewell to Seimei and still tries to make the people trapped in the loop to move on to the afterlife. Depending on the ending where you chose to keep or destroy the Chrono Jade Takiyashahime found, you'll get a corresponding illustration. I hope this explains everything ^_^

Hi! It was one of the old big events for the game. The story is about Takiyashahime (white hair woman) and her journey through grief and duty. She was a general for the army of Himiko and 1 day, a mysterious plague struck her nation and it killed many people. Takiyasha's dad and Himiko's husband died during those hard times. Himeko couldn't bear the grief and she used a special artefact to rewind time. Thus, everyone in the kingdom was stuck in the time loop, where the happiest day of Himiko's life was on repeat, for hundred of years. Takiyasha tried to help Himeko but she was too far gone. She then took the hard decision to fight against Himeko, in hope to break the time loop and freeing the souls of the kingdom people too.

Hi! It was one of the old big events for the game.
The story is about Takiyashahime (white hair woman) and her journey through grief and duty.
She was a general for the army of Himiko and 1 day, a mysterious plague struck her nation and it killed many people. Takiyasha's dad and Himiko's husband died during those hard times.
Himeko couldn't bear the grief and she used a special artefact to rewind time. Thus, everyone in the kingdom was stuck in the time loop, where the happiest day of Himiko's life was on repeat, for hundred of years.
Takiyasha tried to help Himeko but she was too far gone. She then took the hard decision to fight against Himeko, in hope to break the time loop and freeing the souls of the kingdom people too.
