@ Andy. Just a little suggestion. Your initial start sequence for your videos it’s a bit ‘flashy’ for me. Watching in a very bright 55inch oled. I think you should go with a different intro, maybe more classical? Keep up the great work
I am getting very frustrated with CC! Is there a way to export completed videos to a drive other than your computers C: drive which doesn't have enough space. My D: drive has plenty but I can't find a way to do this. Any advice would be appreciated, fletch
Hi Andy, very good video. Thanks for sharing. Please advise which software or tool you use to record the screen so you mouse pointer shows as a yellow dispersed point. Thanks
Great video. I was just using it to try out the techniques you mentioned and came across a problem. When I could to "Record and Create" - I don't have a choice to select web cam (although that's what I have); instead, I have a "camera" option. Okay, so that's maybe just a subtle change in how MS labeled everything but then I wanted to try changing the backdrop/background and that does not show up as an option. Any ideas as to how I get that to show up? Thanks. Update: Microsoft has just told me that this "feature" DOES NOT EXIST or, perhaps (like "Co-Pilot") has only given access to this "feature" to select people. I'm going to look for another NON-MICROSOFT product to do what I need.
Ugh! That’s the same thing that MS has done with Copilot - only some users have access while the rest of us just get hype. Thanks for the video but I’ve had it with Microsoft.
Buffering, buffering, buffering. Clipchamp would be great if they could solve the buffering issue. I have a fully edited ten minute video sitting in my Clipchamp projects folder right now, and every time I try to play it, it buffers badly as soon as it reaches the halfway mark. I've been trying to publish it for three days, and I can't get rid of the buffering (and before you say it, yes, I've cleared my cache, disabled all other devices etc.) I've been using Clipchamp for two or three years now, and it's fine for making one or two minute videos, but after that the buffering kicks in, and editing and uploading becomes a real pain in the ass.
@@AndyMaloneMVP Just to give an update: I tried deleting almost half of the video I couldn't download without buffering (with the idea of making it in two shorter parts, then joining them together). So now I have a three minute video which runs perfectly in Clipchamp, but when I downloaded it, all the transitions had disappeared. They display perfectly in the Clipchamp editor, but they disappear when the video is downloaded (and I've downloaded it several times now). So, that's another serious glitch in the Clipchamp software (and it's a glitch I've encountered previously).
Because it usually fails. After a few times investing an hour or so in editing, just to have it all go down the drain because it won't render (export) I am inclined to say "Fool me once, shame on Microsoft. Fool me twice, shame on me." If they get it working, let me know.
Further to @liamtingle2762's comment, the audio on your intro seems to be a lot louder than some of the videos, which can cause one to scramble for the volume when in a shared room.
Learned today about Clipchamp! Good video thanks.
I've been using it for 2 years. I love it.
Me too😊
@@AndyMaloneMVP and it's totally free 🙂
neverk had known this until my advisee put it in his final project report. turns out to be an okay video editor. thanks for sharing!
Great tutorial! I'll be sharing this video to my co-workers who always works on videos.
Thank you for this video. Looks like I need to start playing with ClipChamp!
Thanks for the Tip, Andy!
Any time!

Your opening sequence gives me a bit of a headache, but otherwise a fine video. I'm going to check out Clipchamp!
Cool, 😎 I’ve changed the title sequence in my newer videos

This is a feature n Camtasia
Like the app, but when I upload a 1GB video and export at 720 it turn's into a 3.1 GB monster. THAT IS A PROBLEM.

It depends upon your licences. 🪪 m using Business Premium

I love it but it does not support academic licensing, we were using it but can anymore. Would be great if Clipchamp was included in the A3 license.
Thanks for that but how do I access Clipchamp?
More apps in your portal
Clipchamp has so many bugs. When I try to edit my video, it automatically exit to the home page. I hope they fix this bug. 🙏🏻

Interesting, I don’t recall experiencing buffering like you suggest here. Perhaps I was just lucky.
Clipchamp is renowned (or notorious?) for its buffering issues. So yes, if you haven't encountered them you have been lucky.

Clicked on it once, asked me to sign in. I closed it and will never open it again

Interesting, remember this is the only video that I’ve produced but using this software.
