I am one of the 30k views who used to play wc3 and actually reinstalled it after watching grubby play for the past week cause I miss it and remembering the fun I had playing it back 20 years ago.
Blizzard became a weirdo company. Getting 100 win 0 loss as grubby mentioned recently "was" a thing. They paired up some weird match sets. Getting 50/50 became the normal. I used to play lots of 3v3 and almost always won if an allied dropped and had a good rate on 2 dropped allies. Something weird was up with the bnet. They wanted all the glory for a few. It's tripped. I wasn't getting dropped allies, I was getting AFK and was stuff with just below 50/50 win rate. I remember these guys. They did the 3 v3 too, they'd be on the same team..
I guarantee they remember my ass.

Legit don't understand anything in this game I never played it but I still watch because I love his personality and he is very entertaining to watch
It's so fun to play, you can do anything you want it's so freeing
To be honest if you watch grubby afleasf play the campaign and a few custom games you’ll enjoy all w3 content like 3 times more

i came to back to play wc3 again and was thinking the game is slow as hell, then i realized it's just grubby that is a crackhead, managing slow units at the speed topplayers do it's almost impossible and they make it seem they're faster

As a noob, I'd love to see a "Low APM" gameplay video. Think it could be hilarious if you had something limiting your APM and watch what commands you value the most.

I haven't played WC3 in like 15 years, but when I want to indulge the nostalgia I come here to watch a quick match.
I only played wc3 for the campaigns when they came out. Then I became a crippled world of warcraft addict for 20 years and then died. I found Grubby's channel when he was popping off on league of legends content.
I don't even like RTS games that much. I'm just here to hear Grubby drop sage advice about random topics while clicking a lot of buttons.

i never really played WC3 except custom games cuz the army comps didnt make sense to me and seeemed like every unit had a place and use case and i didnt think i could ever figure outall of them.
Grubby made me understasnd that 3 or 4 units are most important and i could probably play melee if i wanted
0:00 Yeah, I don't play WC3 anymore, but I kinda miss it since I found Grubby, so I regularly watch his videos when eating or cleaning the house.
I have no clue why i watch Grubby's WC3 videos. I've never played any RTS competitively , i only played the WC3 campaign. Still the videos are somehow inexplicably interesting to watch ...one of life's greatest mysteries i guess.

In the first game, it would help him if you mentioned the breaker upgrades. People always underestimate upgrades.
Also, it seems people still assume that "race?" means you saw that they were random and want to know their race. Maybe saying "Missed loading screen. race?" would help.

Please use the upgrade control magic when you use breakers (at least once during your climb) . Would love to see it used well against summons

I played wc3 from release to 2006 when I hopped on the wow train as an annoying 12 year old. I still watch Grubby. I also unfortunately own reforged because I wanted to replay the campaign on hard out of nostalgia, but I gave up after about the 20th random crash during the campaign.
What items you dont like seeing dropping while doing your expo camp?
About the very first comment, I don't really play much, but I still loved this game. If reforged was good, I was fully planning on becoming serious about WC3, but that isn't what happened. But, I can still watch someone else play!
Next set of challenges: can I reach rank 1 with every race only tower rushing?

One of 30k, at most will play Wintermaul One in customs every once in awhile. I love playing the actual game but it requires so much more physical and mental energy than I usually want to give it. After two or three days my eyes hurt and my fingers cramp.
It's a case of the skill ceiling being so high that nobody wants to trek the path so they just watch other people who have reached that point.

I watch every single video of grubby even though I don't play.
When I compare you and Fortitude I think he has always shop on point when needed and you take sometimes so much unexpeted risk for unhealed units/heroes which can be punished by better opponnents, just if you wanna tryhard more.

I played the crap out of the game when im younger. I have hand and wrist problems now in my older age, so I cant play RTS's anymore. But this satisfies that itch.
Gotta wonder if there are games where grubby had a health handicap, you know the % bar nobody ever plays with before every game?

I used to play the game, but it can crash when I change cameras too quickly. Anyone have a fix? 😢 I play other games just fine! It’s the older ones that crash… and this one.
I would still be playing RT if you were only matched against other solo queuers, as it used to be in the old days. Because of this "feature", my only interaction with WC3 is sometimes watching others playing.

I've started playing WC3 after a loooong hiatus. The Human towers I knew and rather relied on seem much weaker. Opponents simply walk in with units and destroy them in seconds. Did they nerf them big time?
I don't think so. If anything, they've been buffed slightly, with their repair rate being buffed and arcane tower doing more feedback damage to heroes.
They did nerf the improved masonry upgrade at one point, but looks like that was 13 years ago now. If it's been longer than that for you, maybe that's what you're feeling?

On another note, the Sorceresses are looking hotter...
The repair rate was slashed down considerably 15 years ago or something like that. It actually killed the T1 towerrushes and T2 towerpushes. I think they buffed it back up a bit, but not to the original extend

im now trying to learn, so far im practicing against insane computer, i find undead totally OP. Im getting absolutly obliterated as night elf, every damn time. IM using 1.29 version, as im modding it for almost 2 decades :D
