I may have suggested different ways to mount them in upcoming videos. I have several new videos coming soon. Quickly, You can attach a hook to the top but then the birdhouse will sway in the wind. Or you could mount a board on the bottom and attach it to a post that is stationary. Thanks for your interest and subscribing!

Hi thanks for commenting. As for wood species, I shop around for wood on Facebook marketplace. Sometimes friends give me wood from trees that they have removed. The accelerant was to help CA glue set quickly. Please Subscribe if you haven't already. Thank you!

hi i dont think the hot glue will last very long outside then it will all fall to bits
