Is it necessary to give very recent references? 3. My study is based on Survey(Interview and questionnaire for students and teachers of Eng at university level, would it be right to use mixed method
Hi, Here is my response to your questions: 1. I'm not sure what you mean by proving that your research model is effective. 2. Ensure you have cited some recently published works; otherwise, it may indicate that either your literature review is not up to date or your topic is outdated. 3. The choice of mixed methods depends on other factors, such as the objectives of your study too. However, since you are using both interviews and questionnaires, using a mixed methods approach sounds like a good idea. The goal of this summary section is to efficiently convey the key information from your introduction chapter, allowing readers to understand the context, problem, objectives, and overall significance of your research. It serves as a quick preview, encouraging readers to continue exploring your thesis with a clear sense of direction. You may consider addressing the following in this section:
* Thesis Context and Relevance: Briefly introduce the topic's context and its relevance.
* General Problem Statement: Present a concise version of the overarching problem or area of investigation.
* Research Focus and Objectives: Summarize the specific focus and main objectives of your research.
* Motivation and Gap Identification: Provide a concise overview of your motivation and the gap you're addressing.
* Contribution and Significance: Quickly outline how your research fills the gap and its broader significance.
* Methodology Overview: Provide a brief summary of your chosen research methods.
* Structure of the Thesis: Give a condensed outline of the main chapters or sections of your thesis.
* Transition to the Next Sections: Conclude by smoothly transitioning to the following sections within the introduction chapter.

Hi,

It will provide a more comprehensive understanding of the perspectives of students and teachers of English at the university level. By combining qualitative and quantitative data, you can strengthen the validity and reliability of your findings.
Good luck with your research! If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask.
