They have not broken up, just took a break from the big arena concerts. Luka missed a whole of firsts with his son, so when his daughter was born he said he did not want to miss them with her too. I really hope they start recording together again soon. Although each of them have been doing stuff on their own. Luka just dropped a cover of "Nothing Else Matters" on May 15th. The arrangement is by Apocalyptica, who are known for covering Metallica. You might want to take a listen to this one by Luka.

Also, if you like violins and metal music, check out a Japanese band called Unlucky Morpheus, they are a technical power speed metal band. Just a warning Japanese music can become addictive.
