2Cellos are amazing. They are from Croatia and they have a huge back catalogue of songs and albums after more than a decade together (classical as well as plenty of iconic pop/rock covers such as this). They sadly recently decided to split to go their separate ways but they have left a lot behind for us to enjoy.

@@BemusingBillHello, as a Croat, I recommend you another Croatian artist-pianist - Maksim Mrvica...Mel Bush is his manager...Also world famous....no reviews like 2CELLOS but all his concerts are sold out....he has 109 concerts in 2024...he has covers from Pirates of the Caribbean, Game of Thrones....and many others.... He is simply an artist in his work....🎹🎼🎵🎶🔥
I was wondering whether or not you had heard them play, before. Their stuff is SO fantastic. I LOVE cello music in the first place. With my mom playing violin from the time she was five years old, whenever she would put together a band concert in Old Valdez, while I was growing up, there was ONE guy who played both cello and string bass...SO FANTASTIC on either one, and he could do really QUICK changes back and forth. He would have LOVED being able to have a looper, so he could do both at once, I'm sure! As I grew up singing in choirs, etc., I was told over and over and over again that my whistling sounds like a violin playing, and my low soprano or high alto singing voice sounds like a cello playing, which is not surprising, given my mom's constant practicing and playing. When I lived in Washington State, where I was a church secretary for 10 years, I helped with and sang in the small choir. Once a year, we were blessed to have a local couple come and join us for a special concert (not seasonal...just when they had time), and the husband always brought along some specially-chosen song to which he wanted me to solo, because he wanted to produce the blend that he always loved so much (as did I). That was such HUGE fun! As I just finished typing that line, I heard you mention the "sound of a human voice" thing, about cellos. It's ABSOLUTELY true, but not ALL voices will blend well. It's LOADS of fun to sing with one, when you CAN create that blend. I miss those days tremendously!!! I'm so happy that you like this song done by the guys! GO, BILL!!! 😀

once i visited pula for vacation and ended up listen to a stjepan hauser (the one half of 2cellos) concert just because my airbnb was 100m away from the pula arena. most of the concert i was sitting in an cafe next to the arena had the full sound with only paying for drinks. back in the airbnb the sound was still good

This was a great reaction to my favorite live performance.👍 I am a big fan of Stjepan Hauser (guy in red shirt) and was very excited when he met up with Dimash at Christmas. They were both judging the Virtuoso Young Performers in Hungary. They did a rendition of Ave Maria together but I am not conviced that it was 💯% live. I think Dimash was singing to a back track.🙄 There is a cute video of all the famous people hobnobbing but Dimash is checking out Hauser's Cello.🤭😅 Anyway, when Dimash and Placido Domingo do a duet together, you can see Hauser on the judging panel. Hauser also recently hooked up with the incredible Lara Fabian but sadly no duet as it was simply 2 world famous artists crossing paths while on tours. Hopefully they will team up in the future. Sadly Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser have both gone solo. Anyway thank you for featuring 2 Cellos on your channel. 🥰🥰Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

Their last album was released in the fall of 2021, and their farewell world tour lasted the whole of 2022, finishing in New Zealand.
