Dearest Molly, I walk here Boise and listen to Kbsu every Saturday morning and I find so much inspiration to make me a better guitar player. Thank God I found you. I want to sit by the river here and feel young again. My wonderful daughter brought me a Guild 12 string for my birthday. And your style is as much as an inspiration as Leo Kottke when I was a boy in'72. Buy the way very pretty like Emmy Lou.
Will you come and play here soon, the good gig I saw was Tool on Father's day. I embrace everything, someday maybe Tom Waits shall come to, thank if you consider. The Knitting Factory is a good venue, good balanced sound.
What I love about Molly is that live vs studio version of this song is that they both are the same to a point. Some artists are completely different live vs studio.
Holy cow. What a player. Her finger plucking style reminds of the great Leo Kottke. Add to this a lovely, lilting voice and my heart is gone. Best thing I've heard in many a moon.
Don't think I ever heard Kottke use clawhammer on the 12-string, and Molly is most masterful as a flatpicker. It's a banjo picking style (sounds great, too). But she uses it great on this tune, and great job writing it, too. (which she did).
That totally took my breath away. Thank you Molly. The power of a great musician comes from being a great human being.
I love listening and watching Molly every chance I get. Amazing talent and I love this song and the way she sings and plays it.

carrying the torch: Molly Tuttle . LONG LIVE Molly Tuttle and her music....pretty too !!
Fantastic guitar playing and voice.
I adore this
Those are some awesome lyrics! They make you think. And a creative use of claw hammer, a style not often used on guitar!

D>H!!!
You could tell she knew what she was doing before the first note just by the way she held the guitar.
Nice, Awesome! Is that standard tuning? If not what is it?
Not in standard tuning.. It's in D G D G C D
