A little garden advice. Put a small fan on your seedlings as they grow especially your tomatoes and beans etc to mimic wind to strengthen their stalks as they get ready to be planted in the ground

Hunny…that’s called an auger😉. There are several different sizes and just a bit of a difference of opinion on cutting chitted potatoes. I NEVER let them heal over. Like you I cut and plant, right in the garden for me and I haven’t lost my potato crop yet and I’m gonna be 66 so I’ve gardened for a good while. I also don’t put an x on the bottom of my tomatoes before I scald them, I don’t ever pressure can and I live to tell the story. I’m guessing I’m just old school but I haven’t killed a family member or friend yet so I’m thinking I won’t be changing anytime soon. You are looking good post pardem…are you feeling beautiful? If not you should! Loved the fashion show and the visit was so much fun. Happy Spring to all of you!!!:):):)

my favorite thing to do with rhubarb is to make a crisp! you can freeze them easily, too :) my husband's aunt always makes strawberry-rhubarb jam that is also a favorite. One thing I'd love to try and make soon is a rhubarb hot jelly!
Just a little FYI. When you chit a potato you need to let them sit for a few days to “scab” over the cuts you made. Other wise they are just wide open to rotting in the ground. 😖 Good luck! 😊
We have never done this and we're are now the third generation to plant potatoes this way. It's never been a problem. 😊

I have grown with and without scabbing and does very well either way.
I just love a simple pure rhubarb pie! But rhubarb cream cheese rolls are good too as well as rhubarb jam.
We love rhubarb crumble with English custard or pouring single cream 😊 or rhubarb streusel bars

For rhubarb I always freeze it until my strawberries come in and then make rhubarb strawberry jam and of course a fresh pie too
In Alaska rhubarb is very much in abundance. My mom used to make strawberry, rhubarb jam. It was so goid.

Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp is my favorite way to use rhubarb. Your young seedlings look very healthy and hopefully willl give you a bountiful harvest. Baby William sure is a cute little guy.

Rhubarb- either doing a strawberry rhubarb crisp, or cooking it down and adding raw honey and vanilla and using as a dip with goat cheese and crackers 😋 we have our first rhubarb seedling planted and I can’t wait to harvest from it!!

Can you say how the Anniston( dusty blue) dress fits in the bust compared to the Austria? I have the Anniston and the bust measurement said it was 42” in XL which is my exact size so I wasn’t sure it would fit but it fits very generously. The Austria says the XL in the Austria is only 40”. I would like to try the Austria dress in the blue check ( hoping to catch a returned size) but I’m not sure it would fit. Any help would be appreciated. FYI the Austria is cotton, polyester, viscose blend. ❤
