As a frequent Onward VR mil-sim player, that was the most impressive elite mode gameplay. GLID's a weapon of reflex, critical skills, and a storm of bullets. Bravo zulu my man.

I really love the way you and all your teammates create content is amazing and even when I never had military training I used to be a volunteer at my local firefight station and I know the importance of discipline but also I love video games. The way you move, react, and engage it is entertainment (is TH-cam in the end), and is impressive how you, keep calm, communicate, and know how to react is amazing.
Onward was the first game I saw you play on your channel lol it was around the time I was super into playing the game myself I love onward even better watching a real marine veteran play the proper way! Definitely my favorite #1 tactical gaming channel. 💯🔥🐐

As an USAF dependent (father is an officer in the Air Force. Not a pilot unfortunately) I have always loved any military type game, and I even had a whole phase where I just studied some vehicles and weapons used in both fictitious and actual military operations and campaigns. When I got Onward I decided to put all the skills I had, even some cookie cutter CQB from GLID and airsoft videos and got myself and my team out of sticky situations. Met a couple of Marines (and/or Marine dependents) on Onward too and even though AF and Marines are two different areas, we became unstoppable
As a 19-Delta i would have scouted on the outside of town a full 360 walk around and find out all locations of enemys equipment and vehicle with my binos, now i can wait till night to strat, and exicute plan.
Ngl this is a good video for training. Normally ( 06:24 ) I would’ve laid back and had the SAW gunner lay suppressive fire while my other teammates go around on the other side. But it’s cool to see other military member’s views and solutions to these scenariosz

I was thinking back to SRF training the most surreal thing I didn't realize at the time. We used sim rounds, and the exercise guidelines were that SRF does not die. No matter how many rounds hit you, you keep pushing. Little did I know, that was a mental pressure for the real thing that if you got hit in the plates, you would keep going as if nothing was happening. Real mind F
Very cool that the developers included height-over-bore realism in this game, in deference to where you shot from cover and although you had the baddies in your optic, you ended up shooting the dirt cover.

I have a vr equipment before.. and as i see that gaming vr.... the more missing is the belt sensor.. to locate your real 3d point location.. so not your head gear tells your ground location but the belt sensor... the head and belt just tells your peeking angles and degree.. leaning point and angle... .

I would've used the lucky clover method for anyone who doesn't know the method it's basically using a pattern where you go toward the objective in the shape of a four leaf clover. go in scoop around go back in you'd do this when there's open space to avoid the line of sight of any possible factors you never want to go parallel with your ao it's easier to spot you going in straight lines than it it's curving out
dude you gotta check out ghosts of tabor. its essentially VR tarkov. it's in beta and a bit janky but playing against real people in a true open world tactical shooter is an adrenaline rush like no other

There is a haptic controller on the market. However I don’t believe the coded recoil effect in game can be turned off to allow the haptic unit make the recoil.

We can even see in the vids that look through the scope and even see the reticule at the target. Not like the vid I tried where you can't really see If I looked at scope but i did really use it.
