Thanks for the shoutout, Trav! Yes, that Porsche 963 is a beauty - I need to get the tape off my painted track rails so I can try it out 😆 Some great cars coming our way, for sure. I've got that Mirage on pre-order as well.
yea talk to the lionel guys they make there steam locomotives out of metal and put a steam exhaust using steam oil or some type of chemical to put into the stack
At 4:40 you ask about IC powered slot cars. This has been done commercially by COX with their circa 1963 049 powered Corvette and Buick Riviera in 1/20 th scale. Importantly COX made a slot track sytem for these to run on : th-cam.com/video/ibE4sgphIlE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IMn1WdBsBvxK3nC2 No way of controlling them economically back then , so just had to let them run until the fuel ran out. I could go in about the numerous drawbacks. Not a big success even in the US. Tether cars, or round the pole, gas powered cars were more successful until the superior RC cars became affordable. Never saw them in Australia, but COX went on to produce their much more successful electric slotcars in 1/24th and 1/32nd scales. These were popular, but expensive, in Australia. Your Full Earth contact has some COX slotcars on his channel and may know more of the story behind the COX gas slot cars.

The Mirage previously by Advant slot is an advanced chassis, proven winner, this is a poser copy.
Hmmm let's see how it goes I guess
I’m new to this, will someone be able to help me by telling me what HO means ??
So HO stands for "Half O" O is a scale term (size)
