Taboo Tuesday was a cool concept but the problem was that the PPV was on a Tuesday night. For the next few years WWE changed it to Cyber Sunday which was the smart thing to do

A fair amount of these PPV's with low attendance are from the New Generation Era. Business was really bad around that time, it got worse when the WWE stars started jumping ship to WCW
I was 16 when December to dismember came to town I just started my first real job but my check wasn’t enough for a ticket so I had to mow like 12 yards to get the difference that was the best wrestling show I ever seen (I’m sure it just a combination of how hard I worked to get the tickets and nostalgia)
The disrespect to Bret Hart is wild. Explain why business was picking up in 1997 when Bret was still there? It’s because everyone else started catching up. Austin was rising and DX was growing which gave Bret more important opponents. When you have to wrestle diesel every few weeks in diaper matches, good luck drawing lol
its a running joke to hate on Corbin....its sad how his career turned out after wwe ruined his mitb push..he jas never recovered.....so thanks to wwe corbin is a joke to fans now
I feel so bad that Ross has to hear about old school shows with poor booking. Would Ross be willing to watch an old ppv while we pay to assumingly watch him suffer?
At the time, the only reason to watch December to Dismember was the Hardyz vs MNM. After the show, the second reason to watch was abundantly clear; TRINITY.
Yeah, pre Attitude Era was pretty bad, especially in 1995. WrestleMania XI happened in 1995 and it's considered by many to be the absolute worst or second worst WrestleMania of all time and that WrestleMania was centered around the celebrities more than the talent at the time. 1995 was a really bad year for WWF / E.
Yo I went to stomping grounds and yeah it was a dull show other than kingston vs Ziggler that show just didn't hit & on top of that half of the arena was tapered off cause they really couldn't sell tickets! Def the worst of WWE shows I been to! 💯💯💯💯💯💯
Yea the ECW DECEMBER TO DISMEMBER PPV was trash. But the first match was dope. It was a ladder match I think between the Hardys VS M&M. John Morrison and Joey Mercury.
yea but aew is also hitting over million dollar gates for all of their ppvs, they won't ever sink like wcw. fans can act like they know better than TK, but they don't, and aew is fine.
