I know a lot of wrestling fans say that Earl Hebner is the greatest referee in wrestling but in Mike Chioda in my opinion is the greatest referee of all time. When he counts he puts so much energy into it. He needs to be in the HOF
Id like to point out the fact that the reason the match was so bad was cuz of goldberg giving himself a concussion, had that not happened we could of seen a decent match. Undertakers botched tombstone was both of them who was at fault. Goldberg wasnt cooperating and we know this cuz we see taker readjusting his hold. The only part taker was at fault is him not setting golberg down and give him a punch twice and try again. Golberg botching his jackhammer was all him. He could of killed callaway with that botch thank god he was ok. Towards the end of the match its obvious that taker realize golbergs injury was more serious and not superficial. Cuz he ends the match with a chokeslam instead of his usual tombstone
@marvingonzalez8586 what are u talking about he says the rumor of his concussion wasnt from golberg head butting the door. He never said he never suffered a concussion during the match. And then y would taker chokeslam him for the pin when his last move is either his hells gate submission or the tombstone
Damn traveling with the wrestlers to be at a event like Saudi but performing at 9pm under the hot heat that’s crazy. It stills sucks to how the match between taker and bill didn’t really go so well cause it something that should’ve happened earlier than later. But much respect to Mike chioda for trying to keep everything control and making sure that the two of them are ok like he’s been doing in his whole career.
Hey Ross just wanted to say if you haven’t seen it but are looking for more behind the scenes information on this match there’s a chapter of the last ride documentary on this match in my opinion very interesting 👍🏻. Keep up the awesome job with the content.
Hey Ross by any chance I gonna react to Steven richards youtube, I’m learning so much of what went wrong and what went right in the matches and had it feels to beat to be put through these moves
With that shane match they fucked up on the glass they used plexi glass instead of the breakaway glass and shane told Kurt to throw him into the glass again when it didn't break the 1st time
Ever wonder why all of Goldbergs matches in his prime back in WCW were squash matches? It’s because his actual in ring ability was so poor that lots of wrestlers regarded him as too unsafe to work with. His ego also didn’t help. 🖕🏾 Goldberg, ruining Bret Hart’s career with that botched Super Kick is starting to catch up with him.
I didn’t even see the match and I knew it was bad they don’t need to be wrestling again especially ric flair he needs to sit his old ass down somewhere and stay retired for good I like ric flair but he doesn’t need to be wrestling again
Imagine trying to wrestle in 100 degree heat at midnight while jet lagged at an old age. The deck was definitely stacked against them

Did you even see the video, Chioda said Goldberg wasn't even concussed, it's just Goldberg who wasn't ready for this

So why no one talks about taker dropping goldberg on his head first. Everyone glosses over that fact
Goldberg and undertaker match went bad taker getting hurt was bad hit
Beside Earl Hebner, Mike Chioda is one the greatest refs in the history of wwe. Unfortunately, I did see taker vs goldberg and It was bad.
