I'm sure I'm not the only one who can say this but I am absolutely swept along by this series. We are right there with you, Rob and I find myself caught up in the emotion of the effort and the experience you are giving us. That part of Tassie is awe inspiring and its an honour to be taken along on this adventure. Thank you, so much.
Thats so great to hear thank you. I am so stoked with how much everyone has enjoyed this series. From nothing but an idea in my head to a reality thats gone beyond my every expectation. Truely blessed, cheers.
Watching you carry a raft and paddle in one hand and the camera in the other while walking across mossy rocks.... so we could be there too. Nuts! Thanks Rob😅
It's become an addiction watching these, just as I'm sure your addiction is in documenting our state. Hopefully you get the recognition sooner than later. Whatever happens, your future kids are gonna be proud of their dad and his adventures! 🔮👍
A century ago Robert Frost stood before a road diverging in a wood and in The Road Not Taken reminded us in 100 words of the magic of seeking out new adventures ending "I took the road less travelled by and that made all the difference" . Thanks Rob for showing us the same magic on a road only once travelled from Lake St Clair. Just magic !
You are an amazing young man Rob.You should be very proud of yourself. We love watching your videos and the stunning scenery as you struggle and battle your way through the tangled scrub. We cant wait to see your next episode.Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Hi you are amazing young man you've shown me so much if wildness of Tasmania I have loved your adventures, now is probably my last video I'll be able to watch because I've been diagnosed with pancreas cancer and I haven't months they've only given weeks to live but iam going to try and stay on this earth just for for the 1 more video so I can you meet up with your partner take it from me if love her as much your travels keep hold her death and through sickness for rest of your life God bless to and your partner, just keep doing what you love and you guys I will say goodbye 👋 ❤️ iam only 64 and iam in a nursing home iam having a bonfire while hugging my 4 leged boy.
Your message touched my heart Peter, our thoughts and prayers are with you. I am just working on the last episode now I think you are going to love it!
Epic man. I always look forward to the next of your videos. This one didn’t disappoint. I especially like the leech that was heading for you at 18mins 😂
You should be bloody proud of your efforts Rob. Even after 6 or 7 days solo, your motivation to film, commentate and document the journey is amazing! Thanks heaps for sharing with all of us mate 🙏🏼
Your videos bring back such wonderful memories for me of some 35 years ago when I was much younger and fitter and able to walk through our beautiful state. I can almost smell it and living vicariously through your videos brings me joy so thank you so much Rob ❤
So happy for you man. I’m from Stanley but financial hardship forces to live in bloody Melbourne. I get so emotional ”in a good way” when I see footage of my home state. Thanx.
You'll be one of only a few people alive to have stood on that White Hill Plains high point. Loved the lucky pop hole onto the river. That section of the Jane is one of the most beautiful pieces of river on this earth - lovely work.
Hey Rob hope you are well , mate I can't express how much effort you put in to your journeys, please stay safe ! You are a true an adventurous person. Thank you so much for the beautiful scenery in your filming . They say that parts of tassie are impenetrable, but you my friend are like a bulldozer. Great work 👏 take care once again. Cheers 🍻
It's journeys like yours that invoke memories of our own past adventures and give feelings of our accomplishments. Crossing a knife edge in a fog @ 5000' or my first 100' rock face repel. You have that special ability.
Wow, Rob, you have taken us on an amazing adventure so far. I know the feeling of having wet clothes on you and knowing you still have some ways to go. I can't wait until the next episode in the footsteps of the Franklin's.....🤠✌....Pete from Devonport
This trip has been an epic, Rob - what a gutsy effort to tackle it, let alone by yourself. Rafting down the Jane reminded me of the half dozen trips I did down the Franklin in the late eighties, early nineties. Beautiful countryside...
when your older and super duper famous remember I am your number one fan!!!! I don't want this series to end! I've been reading the explorers of Western tasmania and I reckon you will be the next they write about!! woohoo!!❤
As a Canadian, I would have to stop and fish the Jane before moving on The Salty Sage makes a return ...... and yes too much time on my hands ..... th-cam.com/video/nmSTv-Gi7RU/w-d-xo.html
Such a great series! We have absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for sharing. OMG watching that leech creep towards your face in the tent in the morning 🤢🤮I hate leeches
So i see the terrain you hike and hardcore as it is it makes me wish l wasn't old and riddled with arthritis but when l saw the wet and cold you went through in this video with the leech climbing your collar to your neck as you sat in tent talking to the camera it sort of made me feel glad l am old and riddled with arthritis.
Absolutely legendary, if you had a camera on you head non stop recording, I could still watch it from start to finish. Thank you, Absolutely mesmerised, I hate it when it gets to the of each episode due to the fact that have to come back to my reality... when you finally finish this series I am going to sit back and watch it again from start to finish. Thank you oh! Thank you Rob.
OMG, Rob. What an amazing journey through some of the most dense and inhospitable country I have ever seen in my life. How did you survive such an epic journey mate? Simply incredible.

All I could see was that little leach making it’s way towards your neck.
Tassie has some of the most magnificent landscape.
Rob that leech hopping towards your chin in the tent was killing us LoL, loved every minute of it mate.
Watching you carry a raft and paddle in one hand and the camera in the other while walking across mossy rocks.... so we could be there too. Nuts! Thanks Rob😅
