Given that both you and Scott lead pretty busy career lives, how do the both of you manage the distribution of household chores (like preparing food/cleaning/etc etc) (or the communication of it) in you guys' lives? Was it easy for you guys? Did it cause any conflicts? Would be interested to hear you guys' take on that. Thanks. :)
Based on her videos I don't think she has a full time job anymore, it's just this channel. This is a job in itself, but come on, you know it's not that bad
The part where the Japanese question about you marrying a non-Japanese is what I love about different cultural mindsets/ideas(?), one is concerned about the differences between a Japanese and American and how two different Asians marrying each other, meanwhile, as an Asian American it's not very different as the Japanese comment seems to think it is. Asian Americans have very similar lifestyles growing up, so it's no biggie. I think for both the Japanese comment and for Mayuko & Scott, having two different cultures are the best of both worlds. My mom is a Vietnamese-born Chinese and my dad is half Laos and Thai, from an Asian American perspective it's two Asians marrying together, but for both my parents as they are still Asian so they make fun of each other's cultures. As an American teen, I have "four" different cultural backgrounds that comes naturally to me despite growing up in America. My question, can Scott speak Taiwanese then? If he could, hypothetically if you were to have kids they could be fluent in English, Taiwanese, and Japanese. That'd be an amazing flex!

There was a character on HBO Silicon Valley named Seth Lee. There's an uncanny resemblance b/w Scott and the guy who played Seth. I don't even know which episode that was on but there is a clip on TH-cam you can check out. The title of the clip is "Silicon Valley - Pied Piper hacked EndFrame". I dunno ... maybe it is me but you need to check it out. :)
There were moments where I thought a normal and healthy relationship was possible, but people who are damaged good couldn't expect too much. It's been a long and bumpy life and love only appears in glimpses. Maybe in the next lifetime, something simple and lovely will happen.

About your "international" marriage: you two are Americans. Period. Right? :) OTOH in our case even we're from the same country Japan the difference between Kanto and Kansai cultures have made our marriage with a lot of "international" flavors, although we share the 80% of our languages together (note well: NOT 100%) :) Glad to see you two are getting along very well anyway so far as I've seen in this video!
