Dude, great video!! Don't get caught up in thinking your english is not good enough. I'm a portuguese speaker who worked at several international companies, and one thing i noticed is that they care MUCH MORE about you getting your ideas across the table than the actual pronunciation. Right now, at the company i work at (famous laptop/ server maker), everybody says that we are actually doing them(native english speakers) a favor, because WE know their language, but they don't know ours...
That's great to hear, thanks a lot! I try to talk naturally but I still struggle with some pronounciation, not because I try to do a "perfect" pronounciation, but because my toungue just struggles, lol. Still, thanks a lot!
Thank you so much! It really helps! Even if I don't try to do a "perfect" accent, my tongue still struggles a little, but I'll keep talking naturally and practicing!
first time sawing a video of yours.. please keep your accent while speaking in english!!! gives you personality and allows you to keep your mind where it matters: the ideas i liked the presentation and the content, will see the older videos of your channel
Thanks a lot for your comment! It really helps to know that people actually enjoy my channel. I try to talk naturally but I actually struggle a little when actually pronouncing some words. Thanks a lot for staying in the channel!
Man, I'm on a similar situation. (I also speak Spanish natively by the way.). I have used both GNU Emacs and Neovim for a long time. However, I never truly "got it" in GNU Emacs, so I got a hand of Mickey's "Mastering Emacs Book" to learn GNU Emacs' basics (updated for GNU Emacs 29) and really enjoyed it. I even learnt the GNU Emacs keybinds (that I thought I would never even attempt) and actually enjoyed it. If you have the time, buy the book, or somehow get a copy online ;). The core concepts are fundamental to get to know such a complex system as GNU Emacs (because it is not only a text editor).
I often have trouble with bad accents, but I understood your English just fine. Also, I'd love to see your dotfiles for hyprland and emacs. A Happy New Year to you too,
Oh, that feels great to hear. I try to talk naturally and even if I don't try to do a "perfect" pronounciation, my tongue still struggles a little with some words. But it's great to hear that people like my english, it's so relieving. My dotfiles are nothing interesting, especially the DOOM Emacs ones, it's almost just "vanilla" Doom Emacs. Aout Hyperland I might do a video focusing a little more about it and then I could share my dotfiles. Thanks a lot for your comment!
I thought this was the standard, haha. But yeah, your comment made me question about maybe updating to a new monitor. This monitor has awful pixel density and other specs... and because of that, terminals, text and fonts look pretty damn bad. Also I am not really juicing my GPU using only 1080p 75hz, and I just now realized, with your comment.... Thanks a lot bro!

Thanks for the suggestion! I have thought about trying to learn vanilla Emacs but it sure is one big challenge. I might get on to it some day.
