I think I recognize the red cow lol. I live close to your new ranch. Last summer she was one of three cows that came to visit me several days in a row. Thanks for penning them up and keeping them off the road until the owner could get them!
Brooks looked like she was having fun helping daddy put up the deer feeder at the end of the video. There is always something to deal with on your ranch. Never know what to expect. Thanks for sharing.
It’s always so much fun when you have extra cows in your herd whether it be bison or cattle. At least they weren’t mixed in with the bison. Have a great day.
I’ve always been around cows. Yep! Let’s face it, they aren’t the brightest light bulb out there but they are great animal to watch and feed. They’re like puppies and will follow you almost anywhere and they pretty much do what you want them to. I love having them here. Like your bison they each have their own personality.
@@alan30189 Cows can be just as dangerous as Bison, maybe more so, because you tend to let your guard down around cows. There are several videos out there that will show you just how dangerous they can be; one showing some cows running off a Grizzly Bear. My Aunt and Uncle had a couple of sweet looking Jersey milking cows, that as soon as you turned your back, they'd try to stomp you to death. LOL
How cute..lil Brooks helping Daddy today. Good job catching the cows. Look like they were trying to make friends with the Bison..haha..have a great day
It was a great adventure for Brooks! I have rounded up cattle with rocks in a bucket, always checking the undercarriage first to make sure there wasn't a bull in the herd. Good job Dusty!
Hello Dusty and the Baker Family. Well you never know what you could run into out there so please stay safe and keep having fun just think someone will know who they belong to by the tags in their ears. You getting things done pretty quickly out there and it's looking good. May God continue to bless you and my you new herd of bison be successful with Big Joe and all the new girls. From Fort Lauderdale Florida God bless Yall and your family's ❤ 🙏 🇺🇲
Cattle will find the weakest part of the fence and go thru it. You're going to have to walk your fence and either repair or replace it. Growing up around them I hated walking the fence. Keep a roll of wire, post, cutter and stretcher in your truck.
Great wrangling & left arm exercise! Loved seeing Brooks help you; fun, for me, watching her help put up the deer feeder at the end. I was always with my Dad, helping him, too. Recently found out my younger brother does NOT like someone (me) else thinking when he is thinking as he is trying to solve a problem!!! Huh! He's just not used to my help...been here in California since the early 70's. We are together, as Co-caregivers for our 94.5 year old mom, in the same house. But, I AM the best helper!!!
Brings back memories of being with daddy and "herding" stray or runaway cows. Sometimes daddy had to chase them at speeds that scared me. Always afraid he would run over them but he just love tapped them to go where supposed to
You yourself know what it's like to have animals to get out and how awesome to have great neighbors to help get them out of harm and back home. Your are paying it forward, so hopefully your bison don't get out, but if it happens your neighbor will be there for you to help out.
We had Holsteins and when thy ere far out in the pasture, we would call “Come Boss, Come Boss! And they would come to the barn. Always the same two leaders in the front. When they would get out of where they were supposed to be, they could be the most stubborn to get back where they belonged. It would take several people to corral them in. I’ve never seen cows following the sound of a feed sack like those on this video. Glad it worked . It could be hard for one person to get three cows to go where you wanted them to. You couldn’t leave Brooks and run after cows.
It's so funny when you hear Moo-ing in your farmyard and you know that none of your animals will sound like that. But they are welcome as long as they don't use your side mirrors as cow scratchers! ;D You have the opportunity to get some nice fresh coffee milk. One time I had several beef cows in the workhorses forest summer-pasture. How they came in and not the horses out is still a mystery, but only thing I can think of now is somebody let them in! They came from a farm a couple of miles away and had been lost for several days. All was so happy to be there! :D
Did you ck your fence line? Forgot your acreage. Come on! Cowboy up!🤭🤭 Was just wondering how they got in. Obviously you'll need to make sure front gate's closed. If you have drone, might want to ck for any others that might be wandering about.
Oh my fun not fun! Meeting the new neighbors.👍Good job did you find their place? Brook was having fun was this the first time she ever saw somee cows. God Bless you & take care. 🤗👋❤ Mia was nice & calm also. 🦬🙏
Brooks is growing into a good helper, So sweet💖 The property is awesome And will keep you busy for a long time, so much to do - I look forward to seeing you embrace the future Dusty as a rancher and all around great man 🤠🥰
Dusty cow wrangler. You did good getting them across into the coral till you find their owners. You just never know what to expect on your new ranch. Brooks keep those cows in line. Maya good job not chasing and Not scaring them away.
I used to help my grandpa get cows in when they would occasionally get out. I thought it was great fun, but in looking back, I’m sure he was frustrated 😁
Used to dairy farm, happened more than once. Usually someone left the gates unlocked. Fortunately farmed on a dead end rd an was the last farm.Kids never liked hearing.Lets go ,cows are out
Talking from personal experience with beef cattle, it's super frustrating when they get out. Our main herd is easy enough to deal with; they know who I am and follow me back into the pen (heck, they will walk right up to my car when they see me pull up). The feeders on the other hand... they know who I am, but they just don't care 😂
You were doing at least three things at the same time! Nice work mate! How your daughter stood in the back of the pick up, watching those cows. She will be a fantastuc farmer one day! I love your vlogs. 🔆
Oh, that is not good. Each side is thinking funny cows / other side weird bison. Cute little Brooke checking out the corn. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing eh :))

Well done with cows. At least you had some where safe to put them. Great inventiveness with the feed bag and feed for dear, they had a long walk to safety . 1stear and 2 mama cows could feef you in beef a long time!!!!!
I live in a new subdivision (all homes) but somewhere around there's people that have cows, their fence is broken, and the cows come through my side yard and front yard, and you know what they do in the yard, big cow patties what a mess..
Take a drone up you might find your problem or more cattle. Like the comment Daniel has wild hogs you have unexpected cattle . Lol Mia helped she stayed safe.
Great they followed you. I have chased many when we were at a cattle sale all over a little city. whew. finally caught. Always keep a bag of food to shake.
Hope if you stopped short Brooks doesn’t go flying into the front seat. Totally agree you needed to get the cows corralled but, your daughter was worth an extra minute to put in her seat.
I agree. I put up with a chipped front tooth from age 8 to 17 from smacking the dashboard & we weren't even driving! Another car turned left & slammed into us & I went flying. Please put Brooks in her car seat!
Be nice… you never know when them bison o’yours ‘ll go visiting themselves😂seems to me ? They’ve visited before!!”Hi y’all! We’re here to see youuuu!”…LOL!!! Nice of you to feed the deer!🥰. Have a blessed day!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂♥️‼️☮️😉
How is Big Joe doing at the new property and how is he liking all the new bison you've not talked about that or told us how he's getting along with all the new bison that you brought in from Texas. Enjoyed the video today I'm getting to see Brooks hanging out with you she's getting so big oh my gosh. God bless yall
Watching this I chuckled. I have never seen you shake a feed or cube bucket as much as tou had to shake that bag. Dunbar would have raced you. Demanding those cubes.
Cattle out! Neighbor’s Cattle! Three 🐄 cows! Two Mama Cows 🐄 and a Steer! Seem Friendly! Brooks likes the 🐄 cows! Cattle Herding the Modern Way! You’re having Fun! Cattle are curious about the Bisons! Cattle love Grass! #71! Oh! Here comes the other two! Good Cattle Herding! I’m laughing LOL! Thank-you for Cattle Herding Lesson! Great Video!
Never a dull moment! Miya must be union, not her job to herd cattle, only bison 😆 Good luck keeping those vagabonds off your property, cows are silly. Hope no beefalo will be produced 😬
My grandfather raised Black Angus and Hereford. I can't tell you how many times those darn Black Angus got out...and it was always at night. Trying to find Black cattle at night was not fun.😂🤣
Dusty, the Pied Piper of Bovines! Lol! Feed sacks are good to bring horses up too. Hope the female cows don't take a shine to Big Joe or you might have a Beefalo situation going on!
Always be kind to trespassing cattle because sooner or later some of yours are going to wander and the good will is priceless. . .
You need a cutting horse too! Added benefit is Brooks can add to her ranch hand education🥰
Mia would be a perfect helper for you too!
Brooksie's looks so cute hanging out with her daddy
