Dusty, Don't let people tell you it's colder up north than there in Okla. as I was born in Ohio but my father moved us to Okla for his job. I live in Ohio now and yes it's cold here but when the wind starts blowing in Okla from the north there isn't enough clothing to stop the wind from cutting thru you like a knife. So don't let them fool you as to how much colder it is where they are over you in Okla. The only difference is when it gets cold up north it lasts longer, where you can bet that within in a week or two it will warm back up some and not be so brutally cold with a wind that cuts through you. Just so you know I am a graduate of Eufaula high school, and I am living in Ohio again. Keep up the good work and I enjoy watching you Bison Ranchin.
Dusty the Bison Dancer. Thats a compliment of course. I love to see the animals in contact with you. Also it gives me a big smile to see them running. Such a pleasure to watch your channel. So much love for you and your family friends and animals.
JACKIE is a real hero ! Love to see her with you ! CONGRATULATIONS on such a successful move for that distance ! I'm impressed ! The Trust level between you and your herd is amazing ! Looks like AFTER you did this 'cutting' you got the snow ! It snowed 4+ inches here in yellow city, and it is really cold here. Crunch time in this point of the "seasonal challenge TIME " makes everything difficult . Praying that EVERYTHING went smoothly after you made this video ! Blessings, Graces and Peace for you 'n' ALL in this 2025 year !
I was hoping for some Big Joe frolicking in the snow! Don’t worry about missing some on video, your safety comes first! I appreciated your respect for not just the bison but the history of the bison!
You have such good control over your animals. They respond well to your request. Your bond and knowledge are unique and much respected. All your animals whether horse, chickens or doggies have a special purpose. Much joy to watch your ranch and with Melissa and Brooks 🐃🐔🐓🐂🐕🐴🌱🍀🍃
Dusty, I am in awe when you move the Bison. Watching them chase the ATV and the beautiful OK pastures reminds me of the eight years I lived in Lawton. Your winter red dogs are looking good. ❤🎉❤
I’m sure the Bison like a good run from time to time. Here in Minnesota we’ve experienced the cold already, got a brief warm up but we know it’s short lived. Anxious to see when you get to the Gold trophy experience. Best of luck Dusty.
Your herd knows where the food comes from if you want them to move somewhere they know that that means there is food involved so they're going to do what you want them to do
Hi Dusty, Marissa and Brooke Love watching yall videos. Great content. Yall have grown so much since I started watching this videos in 2018. Yall have so much respect and pride of the bison God bless and love yall ❤❤
You and that mud just seem to get along so good. lol When you get to Denver, go to the Herd Wear booth and get a pair of Bison wool gloves, their extra warm.
Dusty thought my face gets a bad wind blown but please put cream or something on what looks like a bad sunburn. I had ski cancer in my ear & behind it and needed a skin graft. My dermatologist tells me to even wear a 40 or 50 rated sunscreen in the winter. I'm old but one of the few things on my bucket list is to see a live bison. Of course no zoos near me have any. Big city boy that took over 60 years to see my first Eagle. Thanks for the great vidios.
You could hold a clinic on sorting, Dusty. You have a lot of feel and timing and I never have any doubt you’ll accomplish your goal. You can see the bison trust you. Love your videos! Thank you!
Bison cannot see the color red... they see the world in blues and greens. It may help to change your flag color to something that will have more contrast for them - white, black, shiny metallic or bright green in winter.
@@JudithChrispell-jl4pd Most mammals, including bison, are dichromats... they have only two types of cones in their eyes that detect color - mainly blue and green. Compared to humans who are trichromats with three types of cones that detect red, green, and blue. Red appears yellowish-green to bison, and everything is less saturated than what we see. This is similar to humans who are color blind to the red.
Man oh man i remember those times getting cattle where they need to be and freezing, but I had help. Im always waiting on your next video, love your Bison.
I'm sure she has plenty of dog tails To talk about. 😂😂😂. But the old saying, Anima. Ls only talk on midnight on christmas eve. And you gotta catch him at it. ❤❤❤❤❤
Can you take that branch of leaves off that one female I think. I seen it on him or her in yesterday's video. Love your ranch and video,'s . ❤ Wish I had the money to stay in one of your cabin's. They look beautiful from the outside. ❤❤ Sorry it is so cold down there for you all right now. You look like your freezing.. about time you put some kind of glove on.
You need a helmet camera, a bracket to mound your camera on the back of your UTV. And a small feeder like you have on your truck for UTV. Love channel.
Hey Dusty love watching these beautiful animals. Wheedling these round ups how many times has a bison darted infront of you and you’ve accidentally bumped one with the atv? I love big Joe.
@CrossTimbersBison Aw, as a Michigander I feel bad y'all are getting way worse than us. I have a question, Do you have a limp-er in the Big Joe herd? I can only describe their gait as loping, when they are traveling. At 11:07 mark there's a big one, dead center in camera. Seems to be shortening his/her stride. Right front leg. It stays in and out of frame from eleven 0 seven to about eleven twenty-five, right next to you in the side-by side. Lost track of it after the creek crossing & I could not locate it again. Perhaps you are already aware & I just have not seen the herd enough to know. Either way, well done👏😀
Is there any way to get a side-view picture of Big Joe? He's my favorite . He's a big, beautiful bull that would make a gorgeous picture and/or painting.
Since when do you have a cow named Kristi ? I thought that I knew all the named Bison. If you tell me where the unnamed Cows are from, I will com e up with names for them that I'll use, even if you don't!😂

One of Dusty's super powers is that he KNOWS his animals and what is likely to go sideways on him 😊😊✌
You and that mud just seem to get along so good. lol When you get to Denver, go to the Herd Wear booth and get a pair of Bison wool gloves, their extra warm.
Hope all are doing well. Woodward Oklahoma got 9 inches of snow!

That's neat to know about they cannot see red= how do you know that?

Since Jackie spends so much time alone, does she have any great stories of her own to tell?!
I'm sure she has plenty of dog tails To talk about. 😂😂😂. But the old saying, Anima.
Ls only talk on midnight on christmas eve. And you gotta catch him at it. ❤❤❤❤❤
@@raynonabohrer5624 So true! But since Dusty doesn't share captures on his security cameras, I thought I'd just ask Jackie!---Thanx for playing along!

You definitely have a system culling those you want for prep, Dusty… They are smart animals and know you…
