Hi, so you have built 2 of this Italeri kit? What do you think about it? I am italian but i know Italeri often make just garbage.. I would build a 1/48 Tomcat..but many years ago i tried the Academy but it have many panel lines totally wrongg. The Tamiya is very good but is very expensive! Revell is no good. I think i will buy the Hasegawa. Take off is a master, sure one of the top 10 in the world, follow what he say but follow your way step by step, no one can became a master in a day! 😊
Just to be honored. I think I’m not ready to be treated. I just followed and imitated him;TakeOff. Besides I agree 1/48 Tamiya is very excellent model kit that’s my goal but I need to practice and have more experience to build. So I tried to find the very f14 made by various nations. First, I chose Italeri kits; two other versions. As for me it’s good experience. Each company has good points but as you know there are always disadvantages. In the same way, I recommend you to buy ‘Pukindogs’, Academy 1/72. I made up video on my channel. Anyway, just keep watching my works, I’ll try to do my best! Thank you for your constant concern! :)
I have been building models for a long time, I live in Brazil where acquiring material for modeling is very complicated and expensive. But his work with Grumman F-14A tomcat is superb.

I have three of these F-14A from Italeri, I'm building the first one, and I'm improving it with a Verliden set, with a little work it will make a nice model.

Nice work a little too much skipping ahead editing with the video. how's the fitment and panel line detail on the Italeri kit? it's the only one of the F-14 I have not built yet.
Not so bad but it'll be better to make panel lines more deeply and by using sand papers you should fill in rough surface. Because of not so much parts in this box, I think this is proper for beginners. But someone who has enough experience and skill like you could take advantage of variables and create this kit on your own ways. Thank you for visiting! 😆

Mistakes?? There are no rules here. Everyone makes a model to the best of their ability and your Tomcat is just beautiful.

Just so you know VF 84 is not the Wolfpack. The Wolfpack is VF-1. VF-84 is the jolly Rogers old designation. Also they go by VF -103.

VF84. IS NOT WOLF PACK SQUADRON !!! CF 84 is the JOLLY ROGER SQUADRON,, VF1 is WOLF PACK SQUADRON
Thank you so much! I confirmed the VF-1 Wolfpack, 1975, USS Enterprise and I changed VF-84 into VF-1.
