Imagine you are walking in the lush green dense forest, where you can hear melodious chirping of birds, shrill shriek of forest animals, and energizing streams and waterfalls, never ending views of rolling meadows that’s Aadrai Jungle Trek for you. Because of the abundance of flora and fauna, the Aadrai Jungle Trek is a treat for all of your senses. Various streams and passing waterfalls, including a massive 1200 foot tall waterfall, can be seen along the trail. This trek has a lot to offer, such as the KaluWaterfall, Nageshwar temple, and numerous ancient caves, each with its own story to tell. Aadrai is one of the most popular jungle treks due to its location in the jungle. This place is located at a distance of 136 kms away from Mumbai and 118 kms from Pune. The base village for this trek is Khireshwar Village. The story of the Aadrai Jungle Trek’s discovery is also quite interesting. It was discovered by chance by a local villager who became lost in the forest while hunting. The total distance is about seven kilometres (one way) and can take anywhere from two to three hours, depending on your speed. It is best to travel in a group because getting lost in the woods is easy. In all it was a totally different experience and one must definitely try it out this monsoon.
