    A basic run through interview. As with most aero bikes you need to work the bike 1st (35km/h) before it works for you. Looks wise the Cervelo S5 is either you love it or hate it. OSPW only provides one with mental gains.

    If your frame bottom bracket hole is bad, it will affect the BB bearings, regardless if you are using BBinfinite or ceramic speed. Unless an engineer measures the BB hole with proper tools, you wont be able to tell a badly made BB hole just from riding it. The BB will wear out faster than usual, and you have no reference to compare to, so you wouldn't be able to tell. Spin tests are not a good indication of bearing friction, as you arent applying any radial loads on the bearings.

      Considering this rider is fairly new to the game I don’t think he knew they were referring to the bb shell of the frame

    Love the channel and what you’ve done so far. However so many bikes that just seem to have left the shop floor ending up here. Need more bikes with real character and soul….

    Hard disagree with the "insulated bottle". The key is to load it up with ice before adding water, so it can melt throughout your ride. I've had water that's still pretty cold even after a 4h ride.

    • @OompaLoompaCycling
      @OompaLoompaCycling  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was expecting the insulated bottle to retain the temperature of the liquid inside just like a thermos flask... thanks for the suggestion!

    • @cabeenz
      @cabeenz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I fill the bottle up the night before and chuck it into the freezer. The next morning I will ride with a bottle of ice and take sips of water as it melts.

    he said 2lbs difference in the bike makes it harder to climb? the mathematical formula says thats very minimal. i weigh 150lbs around 13 percent body fat, i could easily lose 2lbs in a day or two.

    aero bikes are slower in a tail wind thats greater than the speed the rider is going. logic says that tail winds are about 25percent of rides. moderate to strong cross winds aero bikes are slower than climbing bikes
