Hey heyyy, Autumn again, the black girl with a solo. Thanks for the reaction, it's very kind of you and helps us! I'm a HUGEEEE Michael Jackson fan, in fact I told 'em we should do an MJ song!
I was wondering how each kid was recorded, if GoPro or phones, or both, plus each one needed to know their tune so the harmonies all matched up. Hard to believe that probably 20 years ago this type of production would have virtually been impossible. I was in choir in 5th grade when over in Japan. Our big presentation was going to Tokyo from Yokohama and singing in front of a quite large crowd of primarily Japanese. As far as I know we were fairly successful. That experience leads me to really appreciate these kids, and that there is no fear factor, they just sing their little hearts out. Very cool!
Yep you are right. We didn’t used to have this technology that this could be done so quickly and easily. It would have taken more effort and not everyone could do it. Today it’s so much easier. During covid I had to do this with my band kids to be able to have some type of performance. Very cool you were in Chorus. I’m sure the choir was amazing. Hope you are having a great weekend.
The One Voice Children's Choir do hold tryouts, and even have a video of one tryout. Maybe you could do a breakdown of what they're doing and why. It would be useful for those thinking of applying for choirs and the like, as well as useful for those thinking to start a choir. This choir definitely knows how to bring out each child's strengths, which is part of the reason they are way better than any school or church choirs, and even better than Kids Bop and Disney Kids.
Hello @bobcieslinski would love to hear what you have to say around Taras Stanin and his beatbox covers! He is incorporating singing, beatbox, and postproduction to create a new genre that is blowing up right now and would love an educational perspective like yours on his stuff. I would recommend to look at his recent cover of Push or The hills :)
@bobcieslinski Hey I'm wondering if you could help me. Awhile back I watched you react to a video of Greta Van Fleet, alongside another band, doing a cover of a song. I remembered it when I went to show my friend the video and couldn't find it, then remembered I'd seen you react to that video. The react video has gone from both your channel and another persons that I watched react to it. It seem the video has been wiped from the Internet, though I'm just wondering if you, or anyone else, can at least remember the song they covered as it's been bugging me all day just scuttling away in my head every time I think I kind of remember it. I remember both bands where in separate rooms in a house and then all in one room near the end and that's about it lol. IF you, or anyone else could help, so it can stop driving me insane, I'd be extremely grateful!
I’m betting this is the one you are talking about. Band Teacher Reacts Tom's Diner by AnnenMayKantereit and Giant Rooks th-cam.com/video/TTQIu27oBAU/w-d-xo.html Let me know if I got it right. It’s not Greta Van Fleet. It’s Annenmaykantereit.
@@bobcieslinski Yes that's the one!! I have no idea why I was thinking it was Greta Van Fleet and now makes sense why I couldn't find it now as my brain was giving me mixed information for some reason! Thanks for the response and pointing me in the right direction so now my mind can rest lol.

Hey again Autumn. I grew up a Jackson Five fan and a Michael Jackson fan. His music is still pretty epic today. You guys did do one of his.

They recorded themselves on phones, and submitted the videos. Three of the kids in this video are mine!
They also had a track to sing along to.
@@Crys_F that’s super cool. They did an amazing job!!! I’m sure you are super proud of them.
Thanks for reacting to this song. I liked your reaction
Thanks Rodney! Sorry it took so long.

Love, love, love all the voices and the song. By the way I am back.
Awesome glad to hear it. I missed you Dixie.
Love music class I didn’t get to do drums because I had emergency brain surgery though
Wow I hope you are good now.
They just released a new version of the song Try Everything from the movie Zootopia while they were in China and it is really good
I really enjoyed this one Rodney. Michael Jackson music is always great and the kids knocked it out of the park. Thanks for the suggestion!
