These are absolutely lovely! I have a very plain handmade rosewood comb that gets through my hair after a shower better than any other calmer brush I've owned, and it's just a beautiful comb. And just so you know, I need these videos to be about 8 hours longer. In the few minutes I've been watching this, I've become so relaxed I'm practically falling asleep. I'm a put this video on repeat for the rest of the night.

This is amazing craftsmanship. I would be happy to spend my life learning a skill like this. Sometimes I hear about traditional skills dying out because native young people have little interest in them. I wish there was a way for young people, even foreign ones, to learn those skills if they are truly interested in keeping the skills alive. I imagine it would be difficult, though, for those skills to be taught either because of a language barrier or the desire to keep traditional skills with in the culture. Either way, I love watching the love and care that goes into a piece like a nacre comb.

我认为最重要的是精神，但是像视频里在做梳子的本体的时候纯手工就有点奇怪了，明明机床就是一下搞出大致形状，然后砂带机修型，最后再手工锉刀精修，这一下子能省一天的时间，古法之所以没有，是因为古人没有机床啊
