Yea Double Trouble FWoF!!!! That is a very creative and brave way to use your stash. Really, though, all the fabrics and patterns are lovely, so you will get some fun summer tops. I can’t resist blue & white! See you soon. 😊-Deborah
Hi Deborah, there is just something about blue and white together isn't there. It's so clean and always looks fresh. I do hope that pattern does it justice! Thanks so much for watching the series again, it's a tough one this time 😆. Happy Sewing 🧵😊
Thank you Rachael! I really am worried about that pairing but not sure why. Having said that with only buying one metre of fabric, not sure what else I could make with it. Thanks for having faith! 🥰
You think you're nervous?!? Just think of all those patterns and fabrics, plucked out of their hiding places and waiting to learn who they'll be teamed up with for life 😄!
When I read your comment yesterday I couldn't stop laughing! Just brilliant and now I am feeling sorry for the fabrics 🤣. Do they deserve a more stable certain future I ask myself?! 🧵😊
Hi Carole! So happy for the new WOF series. Your fabrics are beautiful!!! Can't wait to see your makes. Obviously, your first spin combo was a pleasant surprise to you. Your upcoming make will NO DOUBT look great on your. That blue and white fabric is gorgeous! Hope you and Chris are having fun at your holiday house. Will pray for warm and sunny sunny weather for your week. 🙏🏻 xx🥰 Dori
Hi Dori, could you tell in my voice I didn't think the first combo would work?! We are still away so I haven't been able to start on it yet but lots of people seem positive. We have SUN and WARMTH!! Thank you so much for sending that. In fact yesterday I even had a quick dip in the sea, mind you it was still only 57f 🥶. I have done a lot less sewing this week and lots of reading which is good in a way, after all it is a holiday! Hope you are well and did manage a bit of sewing at the weekend xx❤️
@@socarole66 Hi Carole: Yes! I could hear the emotion (I thought it was surprise) in your voice. It was very spontaneous and honest emotion 😲, which was fun to see. I didn't expect that you'd be working on your WOF garment while you and Chris are at the holiday house. Glad you got some sun and warmer weather. How warm does the water get during the summer? 57 degrees is crazy-cold! BRRR! The coldest water temp I spent any time in was 64 degrees. Was just learning to surf and my muscles started to cramp up. Here in San Diego, the water can get up to 82 degrees (about 27 C) toward the end of August. It's been a very long time since I've been to the beach. As you get older, it's just not as fun as it used to be when you were younger. As a high school teen, my friends and I just about lived at the beach during the summer. Used to tell people I was a Melanoma Test Patient. LOL!!! 🤣 I will be working on some English paper piecing, which will be a nice project that doesn't involve a lot of fabric. I can take it with me anywhere, which is nice. I'm one of those odd ducks that enjoys hand sewing. Cross stitch is another thing I like to do from time to time. House update: I accepted an offer recently, not nearly as much as I had hoped to get. I've got people coming Thurs. to do inspections, including the couple buying my house. I have the option of being here, but I don't think I will. My realtor will be here instead. Fingers crossed that the sale goes through this time. Enjoy your week! xx❤ Dori
Hi Carole! I LOVE this format! I actually have a few of the patterns on your wheel! I am so excited to see how they all work out. That paisley is so pretty and I have the pattern your wheel picked! I think your Dad should make and sell those wheels… it might help us all to get through our fabric stash! ❤ Diann
Ha ha a few years ago my Dad could have done just that I am sure! He did a great job with the wheel and it has had many uses over the years. That is great you have the same pattern, it is one I have just kept meaning to get around to sewing up, I hope I do a good job and you like it! Mind you, the fabric is so pretty hopefully it will look great whatever happens. Thanks so much for stopping by 💗🍓💗
I love how the wheel invites creativity! When you land on the simplicity 9782, I will sew a top with you, as i have this pattern in my stash just waiting patiently to be made.
Thank you so much for watching and how awesome you have the pattern too! We can compare results when we have made them up. Someone has warned me about the underarm seam which seems odd? We shall see! 🧵😊
Fun! Love the fabric, I was hoping you'd do the flutter sleeves, I don't know why, just thought it'd be pretty I guess. Have fun!! I'm rooting for you. 🥳
Thank you so much. I will have a look at the pattern properly as I do like a flutter sleeve as well. The trouble is they take a lot of fabric so we shall see! Thanks for watching 🧵😊
So enjoy your channel. The pattern you are going to make I have had and really like to wear it I would like to warn you it is a bit full for my liking so took it in on the sides. This might help with cutting it out for the amount on fabric you have. Enjoy sewing😍
Thank you so much for that Lori! Being a bit full is exactly why I hadn't made it up so I will measure it all up before I cut it. If not it will be my go-to solution of ties on the side!! I really appreciate your comment thank you 🧵😊

Then I used it to play number games with my grandson to help him learn whilst having fun.
